Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

This is probably the new brown interior color. This was on a luxury series at the LA Auto Show last year. Note that they never offered this color on the luxury series or any other 300.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

^300's work that way so the Jeep will probably follow suit.

As for wood, look at the 300 luxury series for a reference. My bet is that they are the same.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

It follows chrysler to get rid of the door strips. The LX cars came with them until and then eventually were offered without them. Of course, it was very popular to ditch them which I'm sure...

Do models other than the srt and overland get the painted fender flares and lower plastics?

Hey Brakes,
I've read the little red express has the smoke stacks and 5.7....what else makes it special? Lowered? Different fascias?

Re: NEW 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee spy pics(thanks 12sleeper!)

I actually really like it. I am not a fan in any way of the cheap plastic rockers and lower trim on the current model..........to me, it screams unfinished.

Thanks. I don't understand their rationale......order's start in December, shown a month later after ordering starts?!?

If you want to get an idea of nav controls/additional physical climate control knobs, look at the new 300.

So give up the details...is this in any way a real sketch, or a random pipe dream? I love the low slung roof.

Re: FUTURE 2 door Grand Cherokee SRT8??????

I agree about the Evoque, but I love the Evoque. I would definitely get one of these as it is more aggressive. Honestly, give me the twin turbo v6. I'll turn up the boost and be a happy camper.

Re: Special Edition Jeep SRT8?

One can venture and say it is running the mopar lowering springs, those are one-off 22's (unfortunately) and the motor is mainly stock. I could see it having intake/exhaust, and possibly it is tuned.

That's lowered for sure. They are definitely the mopar springs and they look awesome.

Re: drop springs......

I saw that too and agree with not liking the looks. However, that was due to the tire/drop combination. The tire was far too low of a profile (overall diameter was shorter than stock) and because...

Re: drop springs......

You've seen them......the Jeeps they gave Alonso and Massa (Ferrari drivers) were lowered. Since srt did them up, it wouldn't be extending far to assume they used these springs.

Re: 8 speed tranny? Dream on...

You're wrong. The 8 speed can handle the power of both hemi motors. Supply issues are why they are not in use today. I've spoken with the srt engineers about this, in person. ;)

Re: When can we start modding for 2012 srt clone

Probably pretty soon, however, it is going to be more expensive to clone a wk2 since it isn't just bumpers. You have to get fender add-ons also.
