Re: brand new 2012 needs wheel alignment

Had the same problem. Dealership was a joke. They said they fixed it. Had to do it myself in the garage.

Rear toe was out exactly the same amount on each side causing rear steer.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

I just got my CD in the mail today. Anyone that hasn't received theirs yet I'd say it's probably still in the mail.

I didn't call anyone either. Got it automatically.

Re: Front Axle & Transfer Case Skidplates Install

Not only are the holes there, but the bolts are already there too (at least on the Hemi). If I remember correctly I used no hardware that came with the plates (for the front two). I used existing...

Re: Front Axle & Transfer Case Skidplates Install

I did confirm by looking at a new Jeep with the skid plates at the dealership that these two pieces are not on from the factory. If you think about it the function of these two pieces is replaced by...

Re: Anyone install skid plates on their Overland w/ 20" wheels?

I put the front two on with the car only raised up slightly. Really easy. Will attempt the fuel tank plates when it warms up a bit.

Re: Has anyone played with the Tow/Haul Swutch on 5.7??

Don't mean to pile on, but I have to agree. I've never lost control of a vehicle because I forgot to upshift. That statement is kinda funny when I think about it.

Re: Snow Mode ok at higher speeds?

Mine stays in snow mode and never switches out regardless of speed. Quadra-Trac II here.

If it's snowing or the roads are snowy / icy I'm always in snow mode.

I always move it to snow mode. I read (on this forum I think) that snow mode calibrates the ESC for better handling of lane changes where you might lose traction on painted lines, etc.

I have...

Re: Black Mopar 18" Rim - what Tire dimension?

I have done this on another vehicle, but it leaves you with no rim protection. Doesn't look bad on a car. Would look goofy on a truck/suv.

Re: Front Axle Differential Fluid: 75W-140 or 75W-85?
