Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

You added the overland badge I see? Also left the tint on the rear fogs? Looks good. Love the OPT7s. Just added them myself.

Window Tint?

I tinted mine on all vehicles. I used a very good shop that only does window tint. Just an FYI- my tint guy actually goes a little darker up front so they look to truly match. The reason being is...

Re: 2016 Wrangler Information Thread

Yes, I have them. Recon makes them, exact ones. Not an easy job. Capacitors, etc but they look excellent.

Re: 2014 Jeep GC SRT Wrapped in Matte Dark Grey

Why do they pull off the door panels on the interior? Do the wrap all the way around the edge and tuck under the interior panel? Looks excellent. I like the red touches.

Re: Got a High Altitude V6 overnight. Compare to Summit V8.

Great review. I recently went from a 14' Overland v6 to a 15' HA 5.7. No regrets at all. I don't think there was any sacrifice in interiors in my case, being that I was in an overland rather than...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Those seem legit. Not sure about the Benz, but this color will be more blue than the OEM HIDs on a jeep, if that's something that concerns you.

The Opt7 are a bit cheaper with promo code than...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

I didn't remove the bumper cover. I went in from behind at the wheel well. Very quick and easy this way. Have the factory bulbs out in under 5 min. The plastic rivets hold in the wheel well liner....

Yes, as long as they are the D3S. That's the size. Those both will work.

You need the D3S size. Link here for all in this size from Xenon Depot: D3S HID Bulb | D3S headlight bulb (http://www.xenondepot.com/D3S-automotive-bulbs-s/1041.htm)

Here are the specific ones I...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Installed myself. Fogs are easy. HIDs are a pain to get to. Requires patience. The LED Fogs were $80 with discount code (mentioned on here earlier) directly from their site and I got the HIDs ...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Ok, I finally committed. I was back and forth on what to do. My goal was to have the headlights and fogs match. I couldn't find any suitable fogs with a 4300k temp that were also powerful. I...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

At this point, I am now considering perhaps just doing an HID conversion for the fogs and doing an actual 4300k there and just leave the Headlights alone. From what I have found, the HID conversion...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

2015 High Altitude. I am referring to the LED DRLs on it. How would they look while the 6000k headlamps are also on.

Sorry, 2014 I think was the first model year for those lights. Not 2015.

Re: Newly Purchased 4.7L 2008

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Thank you. Extremely helpful. Now it makes me want to swap bulbs in both headlights and fogs after seeing your GC set-up compared to the stock HIDs in the Dodge.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland LED conversion kit installed in Fog Lights

Sounds like you installed these. Quick question, I assume they came with the LED bulbs too and were not just the housing? Also, are you able to take the FOG itself off of the SRT bracket...
