Re: 2015 Wrangler Information Thread

Looks pretty good. Premium top, AEV Savegre wheels, looks like it has the Mopar AEV bumpers and maybe even hood.

Re: 4.7 Liter Tuner advice

So yes or no? I've been wanting to do a cam swap but the fact that nobody makes a tuner compatible with this little V8 is the reason I haven't pulled the trigger.

Re: prerunner bumper

Sorry dude, but that looks terrible. To each his own and all, but that skid looks way out of place. It's just way too big for the proportions of the rest of the front end.

Re: Nickel and Dime

I'm seriously considering trading it in on a 2008 Overland I found nearby for a decent price. It has only 15k less miles on it, though. But it is optioned out the way I would have done it when new....

Re: Nickel and Dime

It wasn't the primary vehicle, but it was driven the whole time I was gone. I'm really tempted to trade it in on something else, but I know that the resale value on these things is complete garbage....

Forgot about the windshield that just cracked due to the arctic temperatures here, and the sway bar end links.

Nickel and Dime

I think my Jeep is going to kill me. So I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4.7L and QTII. It's got about 100,000 on the clock now. I just came back from Afghanistan and the damn thing is...

Re: Is anyone Looking for a Chrome Shop?

You might generate some interest, if you gave an example of items on a WK that can be chromed, or plated. For example maybe the shop is capable of doing rims, or intake tubes, throttle bodies, etc. ...

Re: Will these rub?

I'll work on getting some pics soon, I don't check on here very often anymore. According to the Jeep engineers the slightly smaller spare won't adversely effect the QDII. With a 255/75 that is...

Re: Covered dash?

I've found threads with people that have painted the dash, amarktu, and trio, but only a thread where a guy talked about covering the dash in leather. Was it possibly on a different forum?

Covered dash?

I have on 06 Laredo. I absolutely hate the interior in this thing, my work truck looks nicer. And considering that my work truck is an Army Wrecker, that is saying a lot. So after this deployment...

Re: wheel spacers needed for moabs?

I ran Moabs and Rubicon BFG's for two years with no spacers or lift. Now I have an OME MD lift and run 255-80R17 BFG KM2's, still with no spacers. And I haven't cut the bolt either. I did have to...

Re: 4.7 Gen Two HO cams install?

I really wish I had one of each to compare. I'd like to see if it could work. I'd even machine the damn thing so that it had the holes for proper oil flow.

Re: 4.7 Gen Two HO cams install?

So if the 08+ cam is very similar to the WJ HO cam, then can the 08+ cam be swapped onto an older engine? Say an 06? I imagine these newer cams would be a little cheaper than the WJ HO ones due to...

Re: Will the superchips be able to disable the spare tire TPMS?

You can completely disable the TPMS with a flashpaq, but I don't think you can do only the spare and keep the others functional. I don't even run the sensors anymore, just rubber stems.

Re: Daystar lift, 255 75 17 BFG's on JK Moab's

Re: 255/75r17 on WK

I run the JK Rubi tires and rims with no lift and no spacers. Does not rub anywhere. You just have to trim a little extra material off of the caliper mount, to help the wheels clear.

Re: Forget HID, where do I snag some LED headlights?

Yep, these are just the 12V versions. But with the right lens they spread out pretty good. Our RCP has the kits installed on most of our rigs, it's something like 12 of these lights per truck. Now...

Re: Hot Rod Magazine 5.7L Hemi Turbo Setup

Hmm, use a challenger computer so that it works with the manual tranny, and then run your transfer without the computer, either with linkage, or wire up some switches that bypass the computer.

Re: Got my HIR headlight bulbs today! -- 07 WK 5.7L

I love my HIR high beams. I actually prefer the color of them over the HID kit I have in my lows and have thought about swapping my lows over to HIR.
