Yep, air comes in on the bottom which makes good sense because the heavy stuff (water, bugs, leaves) falls down before it reaches the filter.

All that stuff is actually pre filter man. You're fine

There is an arrow at the bottom of air box showing you that air flows into the box from the ram intake. That dust and and dirt made it's way...
