Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

Mine is getting worse. The "fender bender bump" now occurs every morning from 1-2 and 2-3.

Went to get the Rev C update last week and they said I already had it, which is absolutely...

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

That's exactly how I feel mine drives. The Eco mode doesn't do much. You can feel it upshift a bit sooner with Eco on, but as far as it dramatically changing the shift strategy, it does nothing of...

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

When I got the car, I had $9000 in rebates and "non cash incentives" that were applied toward the down.

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

They're offering my cash down payment back (which isn't much) plus five months of car payments back, which also isn't much. The combined total wouldn't even get me a down payment on base Laredo...

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

Pretty much. I had equity in my trade-in when I got this car. I'll lose that. And all the rebates I got -can't be reapplied; so those are long gone. I'm stuck. All I wanted was a functioning Jeep...

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

Ah yes, the first gear "fender bender bump." Happens to me every morning. Heard back from Chrysler. They are offering to buy the car back. Problem is, they aren't offering me enough so I can get...

Do me a favor - when you're in Germany, pick me up a new, German-built 845RE.

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

Latest TSB was issued 10/9/15. However, after having received the first two previous and yielding no result, I'm inclined to believe my service manager, who told me yesterday that TSBs are only...

Thank you for information. This is very valuable to me. Whereabouts is your dealer, if you don't me asking? Hopefully it's near me :) but I doubt you're in LA

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

I'd like to hear more about this redesigned valve body. When did they install that? I wonder if I got the redesigned valve body when they replaced mine

My main issue - very prevalent (intermittent) delay in...

Re: Grand cherokee2015 gear issue

Is there any jerking or hesitation at all? I'd be surprised if it's running smoothly right after a valve body change. It has to relearn
