Re: Power Fold Mirrors

If I had a 14, I'd drop the coin on euro headlights. Not only do you guys have the clear corners, but IIRC, your projector lenses are clear instead of textured.

As far as the mirrors, I'm...

Re: New Best 0-60 time last night.. 3.8 seconds

The 8 speed autos on ANYTHING makes a huge difference. At my old job we drove a Genesis sedan 5.0 with the 8 speed back to back with an Aston Martin Rapide, and the Genesis was quicker down low,...

I believe this is the video you're looking for:

It has cats and an ATAK.

Re: Cutting Stock Springs

I would NEVER cut springs on just about anything, let alone a 5000lb truck. Do it right and save yourself a headache.

Re: HID fog lights

Don't do a 35w set up. It will cause the housings to turn brown from excessive heat. Get 15w HIDs, they're bright but won't screw up the fog light housings. A lot of Wrangler and GM owners learned...

HD Radio for 430n?

Is there any way to add HD radio to the 430n? I just put an HD radio in my other car last night and love the stations.

Crooked Dealer

Just went to my local dealer for the first service. I know the first service is recommended at 8k, but at 6300, I felt an oil and filter change was due. The dealer in question, Route 4 Jeep, will not...

Re: Tough color decision: deep Cher red or min gray?!?

My mom got Red. I like it, though I really like the metallic black or the mineral grey as well.

Re: Is MaxCare Lifetime a good care?

This is the one part of the service contract that scares me:

"Repairs required as a result of other than a manufacturing defect (such as a design defect or normal wear);"

So does that mean if...

Re: Are both side mirrors supposed to auto dim?

So stupid, looks cheap with one mirror only, IMO. It's my mom's truck and I took it to wash it tonight and noticed it. She doesn't care, but I wanted to make sure it's supposed to be that way. ...

Are both side mirrors supposed to auto dim?

My driver's side view mirror and rear view auto dim, but the passenger definitely is not an auto dim mirror. I have a base 4WD Limited. Is it supposed to?

Re: 430n with Lockpick V4 installed but no Ipod Video?

Do you have an iPad 1 or 2? I'm pretty sure the 1 does not support video out, while the 2 does. I'm not sure if this is the same thing for video as well. I have an iPod classic and you have to...

Re: Updated New Pictures! Stealthbox/Audio Control Installed thus far

Wow, that bow really flows well with the interior. Even if it doesn't match the carpet well, it still looks very OEM. I had a Stealthbox in my old Exploder and it sounded great. I keep meaning to...

Re: How-To: Fog light HID kit in 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (pic heavy)

Tape off the bottom, not the top. The light that is relected up actually comes from the bottom of the housing. I know it sounds crazy, but try it and you'll see.

As for the fog lights, great...

Re: HELP with HID issue

If the car has bulb check, either the relay harness with resistor or the error cancellers will work just fine amd get rid of the flicker. The error cancellers are simply a large capacitor wired in...

Re: Retrofit - H1 Mini-Morimoto Bi-Xenon HID headlights

The relay harness with resistors or the error cancellers will fix that. The flicker is the computer doing a bulb check. Trust me, do either one, the problem will go away.

Re: HELP with HID issue

A set of error cancellers or a relay harness with resistors should clear up any issues you have.

Re: Retrofit - H1 Mini-Morimoto Bi-Xenon HID headlights

The flickering and bulb out warning is an easy fix with one of two ways:

1. Buy error cancellers, which plug in in-line to the ballasts. This will not work if you have a relay kit. This works on...
