Yeah, I have a heat gun but the issue comes in with only two hands. Almost need someone feeding the tape and slowly removing the backing while another person is keeping the tape taught and smoothing...

Both the painted and chrome mirror caps use clips to secure to the housing. This is easily done on the vehicle. The CF cap uses screws and washers. This requires you to get behind the powered...

My number one recommendation is to remove the mirror housing and cover completely...

@Overlander - These aren't my daily drivers. :) I have the stock polished 20" wheels that I use on a daily basis for a smooth, comfortable drive. I put the MT/Rs on when I go camping or offroading...

ok, looking at the picture below, it appears there is some sort of protection piece between the middle and fuel tank skid plate but it is shorter and ends well before it touches the fuel tank skid...
