I had trouble with the bolt under the bar stripping the thread in the shaft. I therefore had an extra nut welded to the shifted the the bolt and lock nut added.
The threaded shaft is too thin.

Mine got up to 123deg when climbing up to Toowoomba towing a 2.7t caravan
Also water nearly reached the red line!!

If you use this space for an extra tyre you cannot use it for an extra fuel tank.
I would rather have extra fuel for towing and put the extra tyre on the roof or elsewhere.

Make sure that your Anderson plug is providing power to auxillary batteries under normal operation. Mine wasn't and it took 2 attempts by auto electrician to fix.

Discovered that there was no charge coming when connected to the caravan. It then took 2 attempts by the auto electrician to get the right equipment....
