Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Thank you sir.

Yep, he can make anything. He makes badges in other sizes and shapes as well to replace factory tags. These are reps of the SRT 8 badges. Hence the shape.

Same here. When I bought mine new I complained and had the dealer check it out. Was told that it's "acceptable".

Re: Programming Spare (third) Sentry key manually

You aren't supposed to start the Jeep at any point during programming. First key in to the "On" position (not start).

Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and turn the ignition...

I'm at 96,000 and plan on driving it to at least 150,000 before trading it in for another Jeep.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

The local Pep Boys has Hella 500s for $79. You can find them on Amazon for about the same. They seem to be pretty popular. I personally dig the KCs. They're a little more expensive but come with...

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

Looks way better bro.

It's a horrible design. I can't believe the R&D team at Westin let it go like that. But your good to go now. I was much happier after moving mine up.

Now you...

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

Found a better pic. If you're leaving the air dam on then this is probably where you'll want the bar to sit.

Re: Fog lights...

Just get a relay and a switch and run a few wires. Way cheaper then getting the MFS and having the dealer flash the system to acivate the factory relays.

"new and improved" version 2.0 in the spring. But I'm happy with this one for now.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

@ DaneP : The brackets for the Westin Bull Bar can be easily modified with an angle grinder and a drill press (or a vice and a hand held drill. I moved mine up so it was centered on the air dam. Then...

Re: Urgent tire help hurry help

I only took about 3/8" off of mine. I didn't cut any threads. I really didn't need to cut it at all since the tires fit. But after I got home I trimmed it down a little for piece of mind.

Re: Good suspension for 2" lift?

Somebody said they used Gorilla Glue, I used Phenoseal cause that's what was closest to me. With the F-150 shocks you'll need some washers on the top mount as well. I think I used 2 or 3 per side.

Re: Urgent tire help hurry help

Easiest way is a grinder with a cut off wheel. I suppose a sawzall could be used if you can get it in there. Any cut-off tool with a disc would work (Roto-zip, dremel, etc.)

Re: just thinking out loud.....

Just pull the cubby out, (pops right out and is replaceable), cut the back off it, and slide the radio in. Depending on how much space there is, you can fill/attach with double side foam tape, caulk,...

Re: just thinking out loud.....

Sorry , I re-read your OP. Those are the measurements for the cubby on the left. The radio won't fit in the middle.

Re: just thinking out loud.....

That'll fit easy. You do have to cut the back off the cubby though since it's only 4.5" deep. The opening is about 1.75" H x 6" W x 4.5" D, but in the back it narrows to about 4.5" wide.

Re: Heated Seats would be nice

The WK isn't an "on/off" rocker switch like the WJ. It's just a push button that sends a signal to the computer.
