Re: JTS97Z28's 2015 bright white High Altitude

Just updating the thread showing my front matched tinted windows and my new slightly lowered ride height. As shown in my other thread I made custom quadra-lift suspension links. The look IMO is...

Re: DIY homemade air suspension links. Install with pics!

Yeah I remember that, but after seeing pictures and doing some research I figure why the heck not. It's just a bolt on mod and worst case scenario if I don't like them remove and sell. The High...

Re: DIY homemade air suspension links. Install with pics!

Finally got a nice sunny day shot. LOVE the height! I know not everyone here will agree, but I think the HA looks sooo friggin good! I also ordered 1.25" Bora spacers and I'll see how I like those....

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

You shouldn't need to replace them. There are soo many clips on the rear lift gate trim that even if one or two break the panel still stays on rock solid. On my previous WK2 (2014 Summit), I removed...

Re: DIY homemade air suspension links. Install with pics!

Received my four additional ball sockets today from zoro tools and I made another pair of links for the fronts. Like I said before leveling out the wheel gaps doesn't look good IMO. The Jeep needs a...

Nope, looks good to me! Actually for going back to a "stick" style shifter I think it looks great!

Yeah that wouldn't do anything as like already mentioned these Jeeps have a felt kind of material lining the wheel wells. I'm not sure what coating wheel wells would do anyway as those are there to...

Re: Got my 2016 today!!

For what it's worth that's the same tire that came factory on our 2014 Toyota Highlander. They seemed fine to me, but everyone on the forums hated them. So it's nothing new just another factory tire...

DIY homemade air suspension links. Install with pics!

Purchased my new HA a few weeks ago and LOVE it. I like the sportier look, but like others I felt the forward rake and huge rear gap could be leveled out. I used the info from another forum member to...

Yes indeed. I didn't really believe it until I drove a new HA and was able to directly compare to my Summit. I just assumed it was the exact same air suspension as no one knew for sure on this site....

Re: Turn off unbuckled seat belt alert?

Pretty simple and takes only 1.5 seconds. Insert the metal end into the buckle. Not only is it super easy and free, but it will stop you from flying through the windshield like a rag doll ...

Just turn active braking off. It will still alert you via the dash board and beep at you, but will never actually brake for you.

Re: Looking to Trade our 15 Altitude for a 16 High Altitude.. Engine Advice requested

Re: Looking to Trade our 15 Altitude for a 16 High Altitude.. Engine Advice requested

I cant speak for the diesel, but I have had both the Hemi in my 2014 Summit and now the V6 in my recently purchased High Altitude.

I did not consider the Diesel mainly because the cost of it, I...

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

That's how all non-SRT/Altitude Grand Cherokee lights are. The side and back are gray colored instead of black. So thats technically not an error on their part, its accurate.
One thing to note is...

Re: Got a High Altitude V6 overnight. Compare to Summit V8.

Got a High Altitude V6 overnight. Compare to Summit V8.

I purchased my 2014 Summit V8 new back in early summer and its been great. The V8 for me was a no brainer because I had a 2012 Overland V6 before that and the older 5spd tranny just ruined that car...

Measuring parts of the body has nothing to do with determining proper ride height nor were they ever designed to be identical between the two.
