Re: WK2 Lower Front Guard

Actually I was serious, not about the roos but the logo. I'm thinking of what Uneek4x4 has done on their bash plates but an escutcheon plate will be fine too.

Must, must have one of these by the 2015 Aussie Jeep Jambo, see https://www.facebook.com/JeepJamboree2015 . Plenty of time yet but...

Re: WK2 Lower Front Guard

It would be a shame if those without the front sensor had their approach angle compromised to accommodate a sensor. I would like to see the sensor box as an optional add-on but designed to look more...

Re: The MY14 2nd Battery and DC Thread

Never heard of it! Traxide sounds like a back yard operation. There again, the gut behind it may be an electronic genius. My concern is that the isolator is rated at 90A so it will be able to take...

Re: Off Road 18"s

That's right. In relation to tyres, scrubbing is a testicle term. It refers to the rubbing effect against the road a tyre experiences when veering from a straight line. To a lesser extent toe-in...

Re: ARB Compressor Install - a fun project

Believe it or not, this little ARB compressor has a tank, It's that horizontal grey cylinder thing in front of the blue motor. It's only small but it does the job. When switched on, the compressor...

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

The 580Nm is a continuous rating. Anything above that could be looked at as red-lining the gear box. It won't necessarily break it but may reduce longevity. In any case, it is unlikely that max...

One shouldn't get too hung up about comparing fuel consumptions. On or off-road driving is as about as far from a controlled environment as one can get. There are too many variables. The big three...
