Re: Turn off uconnect?

What a coincidence jacko15. That's the same color I have. Nothing better than factory wrapping.

Re: Turn off uconnect?

I guess I'll be needing a much bigger foil cap then. ;)

Turn off uconnect?

Sorry for a dumb question.
I appears there is no way to turn off the command center for radio, nav, etc in my 2014 limited with tech package?

Re: Low tire pressure warning

On my first trip to the gas station I inflated all tires to 40 on the station's gauge. I thought that would cover me with a 10% error factor. Wrong. :p

I've always been happy with the round dial...

Re: Low tire pressure warning

So I aired all four tires up to 38 by my hand gauge. The service station inflator with built in gauge was telling me 42 lbs. This would explain why I failed to correct the situation the first time....

Re: Low tire pressure warning

I drove 3 Mercedes SUV's prior to this vehicle, and on those you could reset the initial value after correcting a low air condition on one or more tires.

It seems odd that Jeep does not have the...

Low tire pressure warning

We had our first cool night and at startup I received the message in console that one tire was low. Drove to nearest gas station and added air to all tires. The display told me all four were at 35...

Re: First Impression 2014 BMW X5

Well I'll go out a limb here & make a different comparison. BMW vs Mercedes.
I replaced my 2003 X5 with a 2007 MB E550. This made in Germany sedan is so many levels above the X5, my opinion of...

Re: First Impression 2014 BMW X5

You have just described my '14 as well, except I got the 5.7 engine & skipped a service plan. I bought a Billet Silver / Black combo and am very happy with it.

Re: First Impression 2014 BMW X5

I did invest in a set of dedicated snow tires for the X5, but never really utilized them. At the time I owned the X5, I was driving a 2500HD Silverado 4X4 CC that was a company vehicle. I really...

Re: First Impression 2014 BMW X5

I had a 2003 X5 4.4 that I purchased in fall of 2002. It handled extremely well, was scary fast, and a very handsome vehicle IMO. My wife was on her 2nd Grand Cherokee ay the time, a 2003 Overland...

Re: Rear seat headrest removal

So I'm not the only one stumped by these things.
Tough to interpret whether the OP on that thread ever figured out how to get the metal bars out of the seat, short of the Sawzall comment.
I guess...

Re: Rear seat headrest removal

THanks!!!
Looks like an easy task.

Edit
2014 is different. I'll re-evaluate the need to do this at a later date

Rear seat headrest removal

Has anyone figured out how to do this?
I drive with the rear seats down over 99% of the time.
I also drive with the seat at it's furthest back position, and recline the backrest a fair amount. ...

New owner

Hello all,

I just purchased a new 2014 Limited with 5.7 yesterday.
Took delivery late in the day & had some home things that needed doing, so have only driven 15 miles so far.
Looking forward to...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Anyone here from the Maryland suburbs of DC or Baltimore who can refer me to a dealer who is informed on the 2014's?
The dealer I contacted in Rockville was clueless.
I have GL450 coming off lease...
