Re: "Washer" or "flat" style wheel spacers

You already answered you own question. 5mm or 50mm sandwiching a second set of mounting surfaces is a bad decision. How much thread do you think is in there?, 5mm less thread engagement out of...

Re: Hydro dipping????

Hydrodipping gives a very nice finish and has great options for detail and especially when ghosting, with a clear it's very durable and some killer looks can be accomplished. I would not attempt my...

Re: "Washer" or "flat" style wheel spacers

Re: Overheats Towing

It's not counterintuitive to have the trans in a lower gear and rpm's at or above 3000. Forget the coolant movement which is a plus, the 3.6 pentastar makes approximately 100hp at 2000rpm, 150hp...

Re: Balance Clips on Radiator fan?

If you suspect they are from the factory and for balancing a rotating mass, but you have no idea what their actual job is, your first thought is to remove them? If you go under the jeep there'll be...

Re: Will LT255/75R17 fit?

If your rear rotors are vented you have the HD brakes. If they are solid you do not.

Re: Lionhart Tire Review

With off brand tires it is hit or miss for sure and I won't use them on highway driven vehicles, just odds. On Jeeps that we can't zero out we've only had luck with balancing beads, in tires from...

Re: Optima Battery

It's no secret, I thought I mentioned it before, I use Advance as a reference because they have a very low rate of return, batteries do not sit on their shelves either, a large national presence, and...

Re: Is my wk2 flex fuel?

Using ethanol in marine applications leads to big problems, non ethanol fuel is all you'll get at the docks. Some small engines and other things don't last on ethanol, weed whackers to generator......

The salesman is doing exactly what he's trained to do but, upsell profit items. However even a small enclosed trailer will pull far different than a flatbed with a load, that is not a comparison also...

Re: LED Question

Personally I'd go with a known commodity. In the back of most pepe boys by the headlamps and such they sell the Phillips bulbs too, I think you'll have better luck with them in an exterior location.

Re: Is my wk2 flex fuel?

Yes you're 2011 is rated flex fuel. While I think the 3.6's mechanicals are nearly identical from 11-15 which would make them all capable of running e85, I've read but never truly confirmed that '12...

Never over lubricate the studs or the mounting pad.
Never lubricate the seat or angled portion of the nut as the tension and friction is relied on for it to maintain that torque, and establish a...
