I ended up taking the cover off again, taking out all three lights, and replacing two instead of the top light, and it worked. I have no idea why, I was wondering if it was some kind of impedance...

It is always wise to get 3 estimates and take the cheapest estimate back to the place that you want your truck to be fixed. Most shops will match the other quote if they can get the work.

I bought mine with 35k on it and right now it has 52k and transferred the 70k warranty over within the first month...
