Re: MOPAR skid plates

It's easy to do. When you get to the gas tank part, it's easier when the tank is almost at empty. A floor jack helps support the tank and the plates. Even if you're just a little bit mechanically...

Re: Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

No complaints at all k-mu. I'm happy with the decision to stick with using the shocks to level instead of the spacer kit.

Mine went in for alignment but I had front shocks installed also. Last I looked when I was researching the spacers, they weren't needing alignment after install.

Re: Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

Looks great. I'm so glad Bilstein made this available for our WK2s. No need to use the spacer style leveling kit and get new shocks at the same time.

Wow, that is indeed expensive. The shocks are about ~$320 (fronts only).

Sounds about right, the 275/55-20s on your 2012 is about 1.40" taller than my Cooper Discoverer 245/70-17.

Re: Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

I did discuss that I was willing to lose the load leveling. It's all good though, my main target was the fronts to level the GC a little and that was accomplished. I will post a measurement pic soon.
