Re: Front headlamp not working -- any help??

Was eventually thinking I might and try to contact them, but the only issue is that I bought the kit from a board member (almost exactly 2 years ago), and not direct. It was never installed by the...

Re: Front headlamp not working -- any help??

Hoping for nicer weather this weekend to get out and start checking connections and grounds. Any easy way to test if a ballast is still good or not? Simple as testing continuity from one end to the...

Re: Rusty rotor removal

I'd recommend using a penetrant (PB Blaster, Kroil, etc.) over a water displacer (WD-40).

Had an old '89 Firebird that I was swapping the stock rotors on. Sprayed them w/ WD-40 (all I had on...

Airaid '05-'07 WK intake on '08 WK

After talking with a few members on the board and back and forth with Airaid, I decided to see if their intake meant for '05-'07 3.7L WK's (#311-205) would fit on my '08.

Original thread...

Re: Are the externally installed trailer hitch's safe to use?

Don't mean to thread-jack, but also on topic of hitches... how important is it to have a tranny cooler installed if you're adding a hitch? Last I checked, those w/ the tow package left the factory...

Re: Couple 3.7L intake questions

Here's an email I got today from Airaid...

To me it seems like he's saying the issue is simply w/ the heat shield forming a seal against the hood, rather than any other fitment issues from the...

Re: Couple 3.7L intake questions

Trying to avoid the accordion tube -- seems like it'd add turbulence, but whether or not it has any noticeable effects, your guess is as good as mine

Re: Couple 3.7L intake questions

Plans are to get rid of the resonator, but the issue is fabbing something to go between the 63 series and the TB.

And a FRP TB is already on the list to buy -- just waiting to hear back from him...

Re: Couple 3.7L intake questions

Saw that thread -- not a huge fan of the accordion tubing :smh: Also saw where someone used an Airaid tube from a 92 Dakota, and while I like the looks of it, I don't want to have to buy another...

Re: Couple 3.7L intake questions

Thanks -- no big rush so take your time

Re: Couple 3.7L intake questions

GD,

Do you think you could take a pic of the underside of your hood for me? I want to compare it to mine and see if what Airaid told JeepKid is true and that there are in fact changes in the...
