Re: bwoody swaybar links - noisy (squeaks)

These are the Bwoody Rear Links.. I do have Marine Grease so will give that a try too. The links have small bushings in them so I wouldn't expect them to make any noise even without grease - but I'll...

Re: 2008 Grand Cherokee 4.7L Gen II Spark Plugs

Also - If this is the first time you have changed them, the coil-on-plug boots may be stuck to the spark-plugs. Try gently twisting to remove rather than pulling straight up. I destroyed one boot...

Re: bwoody swaybar links - noisy (squeaks)

Mine started within about a month of installing them (I installed them at the same time as the SRT swaybars). No lift on this Jeep. The noise started about a month after the install. I'll try just...

Re: Car Mileage problem

Will your buyer come and see it first? If you meet then you can explain the problem and have a letter from the dealer (or drive him over to the dealer if an option). I understand the problem, trying...

Re: cold air intake

<Any major gains in horsepower or torque>

I haven't spent the cash to get it dyno'd but it's clear that eliminating or reducing downshifting on climbs after installation of the TB has made a big...

Re: cold air intake

I have it installed on my wk 08 4.7 and the result was less hesitation/better throttle response and less downshifting (or use of tow/haul) on the hills. No change in mileage better or worse (maybe a...

Re: cold air intake

I have the Fastman TB on my WK 4.7 and I'm waiting to see if Bwoody come out with a CAI before I make a decision on what to buy. I didn't need to give it any thought because I was running a fastman...

Re: Axle oil change help.

I have an 08 WK 4.7 QTII. I tried the lubelocker on my old XJ and they didn't work well for me on reuse (I think that was the advantage of the lubelocker). The idea sounds great but I went back to...

Re: RER MyGig & iPod or iPhone connection

A new model version of the lockpick has just been released that seems to add support for this (CHR550). If you do find a way to upgrade and try it out let us know.

Re: changing plugs - coil pack seating

I replaced my homemade boot with the complete replacement coil-on-plug assembly. The part is BWD E1101 and looks identical to the OEM part but probably costs much less (under $30 from Checker...

Re: Looking at XJ's

Re: changing plugs - coil pack seating

It took 2 hours and lots of toothpicks but it looks like that method could have worked, just not on this plug. In the end I had to tear out the boot. Looking at the plug and boot afterwards and it...

Re: changing plugs - coil pack seating

Thanks - that sounds like a good way to do it, make some space between the spark plug and the boot itself. I'll give it a go.

Thanks all, that makes me feel a lot better. I do have another problem though - the boot on one of the coil over's detached itself and stayed wrapped around the spark plug. So I have 7 of 8 plugs...
