Re: How is the interior wood trim affixed?

Mine does the same thing. Just like you, I'm debating about bringing it up when I have my first service. I'm afraid that I may snag something on the pointy end of the trim.

Re: Fuel Door

You can push the white part of the fuel cap into the bracket in the upper left corner of picture #1. Just push it in there and it "locks" in place. Pull the cap out after fueling. It's confusing...

Re: Accessories

I installed the Shark Fin antenna this week; took about 15 mins total. I also installed the pedal kit; as others have stated, you really have to "finesse" them on and try and avoid swearing...

Re: Installed some mods today (Pics)

I know this board is costing me money! As for the mountain, it's actually Daisy Mountain in North Phoenix.

Re: 430N and Sirius Travel Link

I'm seriously considering getting an old 8 track player from the swap meet and using that although Chrysler probably won't support it without a software update. :bash:

Re: Installed some mods today (Pics)

Forgot about the BEST mod that I did today as well. I got rid of that awful glaring green indicator showing that the headlights are on (like I couldn't tell by looking straight ahead). With a...

Re: Installed some mods today (Pics)

Ordered on 12/31/10 and just received it today, so 2 weeks total. Great place to deal with. For those who missed the earlier thread, here's the link to the VG site: http://www.visualgarage.com/

Re: Installed some mods today (Pics)

Even a retard can do it

Seriously, all you need is a plastic wedge like tool to gently pry up one corner of the existing bezel and it just pops right out. To install, you just snap in the...

Re: Installed some mods today (Pics)

I'm thinking it would look great, but then where would you stop? You'd almost have to paint the wheel well plastic trim as well or it would look mismatched. Bet the new SRT8 will have painted trim to...

Re: My 2011 JCG

Very striking. Nothing like a white vehicle to show off the lines and I'm liking that Saddle the more I see it. Great choice!

Re: Confused on current SW version on 730N RER

Point taken. My issue is that some us have a brand new $45K vehicle with an end of life Nav unit that doesn't work with iPhone 4 while other units like the 430N work fine. I believe that Chrysler...

Installed some mods today (Pics)

Thanks to this forum, I was able to purchase both the Chrome Fog Lamp Bezels and the VG Shark Fin Antenna. Received both today and installed them quite easily. The shark antenna looks much better...

Re: Confused on current SW version on 730N RER

Re: Confused on current SW version on 730N RER

I don't see how it's an iPhone issue given that bluetooth works perfectly with my BMW and my Jawbone, just not with the Jeep. I can just see Chrysler blaming Apple and vice versa. Oh joy

Re: Confused on current SW version on 730N RER

Here's what happens with out-going calls:
1. Press the UConnect button on steering wheel and say "Dial xxxx (name)"
2. Phone begins the dialing process, sometimes completes, but often locks up....

Re: Anyone try this clear bra? Need recommendation

I had this installed on mine; http://solargard.com/Auto/Clearshield

Difficult to see seams or any other trace of bra on my silver GC. I would be wary of attempting to install myself, though, but...

Re: Bimmer to WK2?

I have a 2009 335i along with my Jeep GC. I can honestly say that I don't really miss driving the BMW. The Jeep feels more like a luxury vehicle to me and the miles just seem to fly by. If I want to...

As a long time BMW owner (have had nothing but BMWs for past 15 years), this is the first american vehicle that I've owned and am very pleased so far. I've had no issues with the QL suspension. As...

Re: Confused on current SW version on 730N RER

Fingers crossed on my end as well. I can't even make calls let alone receive. I finally turned bluetooth off on my iPhone since it keeps locking up. Works fine with my BMW, go figure.
