Re: What's the most tread for the 20" I can buy?

I just put the Nitto Terra Grapplers on in the stock P265/50/20 size. Other than the price (Owwie!) I have been deliriously happy with them so far. Not too bad on the noise at freeway speed, and...

Re: Anybody tow a toy hauler?

Yes it does. The QL does a nice job of keeping everything level, really.

My toy hauler is a tad smaller at 16 feet, but I tow it with the V6 and it rides really nice.

Re: How long did your fortera tires last?

My Forteras started looking pretty bad at 42K miles. Just got the Nittos put on in stock size. We'll see how they work out. I wasn't overly impressed with the Goodyear's ability in the snow and...

Re: Towed my travel trailer home today...

Yes, this is correct. The debate I'm having in my head is that my trailer is light enough that leaving it in fourth gear on the highway seems like overkill, but heavy enough that I'm worried about...

Re: Towed my travel trailer home today...

I kind of wondered that, too. I think next time out to the track I'll put the EVIC on trans temp and give it a try for a bit.

Re: Towed my travel trailer home today...

I've just started towing a 22-2300 lb. trailer with our V6 Overland and while I don't have much to compare it to, it seems to do fine. Keeping it in fourth gear really kills the MPG, but I guess...

Re: Mounting brake controller

I just velcroed mine to the underside of the steering column. When not in use, the only thing you see is the dark colored square of velcro, and you really need to be looking for it in the black...

Re: Why no TOW/HAUL Button on WK2 with Trailer Tow Group?

So for a V6 towing... let's say... 22-2300 lbs. Should I put the trans in 4th gear instead of drive to prevent the overdrive from kicking in? Or is that over-thinking things a bit too much?

Re: Would you go with Fortera's again?

Nah, wasn't me. The Overland rides like a Caddy as far as I'm concerned. And if it weren't for the 4-5 times a year when I really need an AT tire, I'd probably stick with the Goodyears, because...

Re: Would you go with Fortera's again?

I've not been all that impressed with the Forteras in snow and sand. I'm a good year or so out from having to replace them, but if I had to do so now, I'd look at the Nitto Terra Grappler AT pretty...

Re: Owned the Overland 1 year now

Just over 1 year and 24K miles here on our Overland. Still love it. Hate the Goodyears, and can't wait for them to wear enough to justify replacing them. Otherwise it's been a great vehicle. ...

Any way to change passenger seat sensor?

The sensor in my 2011 Grand Cherokee is a bit overly sensitive for my tastes. It doesn't take much to get the passenger seat belt chime going - a couple of library books, Indian food take away - I...

Re: Tahoe vs Jeep Grand Cherokee

Came from a '03 Tahoe in to my '11 JGC Overland.

Some initial, somewhat random thoughts:

The Jeep's interior wins hands down. Some of that is due to the bells and whistles now available (GPS,...

Re: Air conditioning thoughts?

The AC on our V6 Overland works great. In fact, I regularly keep the temp a few degrees warmer than our old car. Otherwise I get too cold.

Are you keeping your sunroof shade closed? That's a...

Re: Recent MPGs on a Weekend Trip

My RHR reset itself 4 times in a 45 minute period yesterday. That was the first time it had done so. Fortunately I didn't lose any data.

Re: To debadge the hood or not to debadge, that is the question.
