I've had mine through water just below the bonnet (or hood as you guys call them). It's ok as long as you don't stop!

It is an Aussie WK2 with 2.5" lift.

No water at all in the battery box. Due to other posts on here I was wary of that too so I did check a few times along the trip that it was dry.

We did Cape York in our 2012 3.6L WK2 including 90% of the OTT.

No issues with water - however we didn't attempt Palm creek or Nolan's brook. Palm creek because it was extremely washed out and...

I would've used either a socket set or a flexible ratchet spanner.

It is pretty tight from memory.

Edit: just had a look and your brackets are too wide, as well as the hook where the holes are.

Hi Bill,

If you want to see one in person I have a MY12 with nudge bar fitted. I'm on the Gold Coast.

You may be able to just supply hooks for these rather than brackets too?

Wow @ 40k then 50k service price. It'll be interesting to see my next service price at 48k (we have the 3.6L V6 Petrol)

We have done 42,000km in 16 months. With the above prices we would've paid...

Just thinking - if you have garage door and gates you could use two individual buttons with the one remote (if they're on the same frequency)!

Very easy to do! Make sure you checkout the multi packs on eBay for the garage remotes to butcher - they're much better value than individual!

Had the TSB applied last week (two of them) and the transmission is shifting much smoother than before too - no horrible clunk that was present sometimes (not yet anyway!)

It's the newer style 2012 compatible Mopar accessory - got it from Jeep on the Gold Coast. The brackets are purchased separately and are quite expensive from Jeep though (luckily got a great deal...

Apparently if you use the key to turn the ignition (pop the start button out and the key goes in there), it stays on.

I've not tested it myself though!
