Sportrack SR7016 Cargo Box

Just finished an 800 mile trip in our GC with a Sportrack SR7016 up on the roof. I kept the speed below 75mph (most of the time), wind noise was noticeable but not what I would call excessive. ...

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

The Inno IN-TR sits low, only about 2.5" above the factory side rails. On my 14, the back crossbar sits pretty much flush with the shark-fin antenna....

Sorry Ken, I know this question is a few weeks old now but figured I could chime in, in case you're still hunting for a roof rack.

You're correct Thule discontinued their fit kit for WK2 w/...

Re: Inno IN-TR Roof Rack

This rack is for my wife's rig and so far I've only done the one fitting/test drive with the fairing installed. With fairing installed at 60mph, extra wind noise was negligible... that's as fast as...

Re: Inno IN-TR Roof Rack

The link you posted above shows the ones I was thinking of, that use the factory flush rails. Not sure what's up with that pic on MOPAR's website.

I think the MOPAR rack/crossbars have a weight...

Re: Inno IN-TR Roof Rack

"Better" is a subjective term.

I can only tell you that for me, the MOPAR pieces look kinda cheap, don't seem to fit as well, and are not as wide so you may be limited in loading some wider items...

Re: Inno IN-TR Roof Rack

The Inno crossbars are 1.265" (aprox. 32mm) wide x 0.90" (aprox. 23mm) tall.

Inside width of the Inno stay is 1.335" (aprox. 34mm).

Hope this helps

Re: Inno IN-TR Roof Rack

You could call ORS and ask them, they're very helpful.

I'll break out my caliper when I get home from work and measure the Inno crossbars.

IMO, the ARB53 looks better on the GC (compared to the ARB47) and gives you extra width which my be practical if you ever need to secure larger items like a sheet of plywood. The ARB60 may be too...

You may have sorted this out already but the correct Thule footpack to use with the 4019 fit kit for the WK2 and aeroblades is the Podium 460R, if you can find a set (the 460/460R and 4019 fit kit is...

Re: Help needed about oil leaking after oil change

As a general rule, torque wrenches are not as accurate at the far ends of their range... I'd use a 3/8 drive if you want to torque the cap.

Re: Help needed about oil leaking after oil change

Not sure what year your WK2 is, but the 2014's use a different P/N filter on the 3.6 from the older 11-13... this might be the cause of your leak?

Re: Passenger Kick Panel Gap

Hoping someone can verify if they have this same gap... seems odd to have an opening big enough to be able to put your hand in, whereas most kick-panels would contact the floor board carpeting.

Anyone else notice a large gap on the forward edge of the pass-side kick panel? Is this by design for venting of interior modules?

The Solvit looks pretty nice... maybe the XL version would work better though since it is longer than the Delux and would give less incline.
