Re: How to remove this... Pic attached

That is exactly what I am talking about. In fact it is the identical rivet gun I bought through EBay. Yeah, its a pain. You have to cut all the heads off the existing rivets, fish out the cores...

Re: How to remove this... Pic attached

The black plugs you refer to are actually plastic rivets. The only way to remove them is to cut the head off, which destroys the rivet. The good news is that you can buy a very inexpensive rivet...

Re: liftgate window leak

Same thing here. As with the above, i took my Jeep in and they had a glass guy come in and fix it. Took him all of 20 minutes and did not have to take the rear spoiler off. Can see only see the...

Re: Front Bumper Faschia/Cover removal question

You can buy new rivets at the dealer, although they are quite expensive compared to aftermarket. I bought a rivet gun with a bag of rivets on Amazon and I think they are pretty close if not...

Re: Are you going to clear bra?

I have clayed mine with no issues at all. Even used on bugs and have gotten them all off. What lubricant are you using for the spray?

Re: Are you going to clear bra?

You do make valid points. Amount of time in conditions where road rash can occur is probably the thing you need to think about the most. In my case, $500 for the full front fender, lights, and fog...

Re: Are you going to clear bra?

I put a clear bra on my 2012 White Jeep and have had no regrets. After one year and 16K miles, the front of the car still looks brand new. I put this on because I spend a fair amount of time in...

Re: Selecting a name from phone book without voice

I have run into the same issue on more than one occasion. If I recall all the steps correctly:

Press the Hardkey "menu" button on the right
Touch "my files"
Touch "address Book"
then you will...

Re: Recommend Removing Engine Cover for Oil Change

If you park inside a garage, you probably need to look into some kind of pest control. Outside, there is not a lot you can do since mice are fairly resourceful in getting into the engine...

Re: 2014 ordering and 1% below invoice

Roki,

Using the 1% below invoice is very easy. You should present it up front. In my case case, the dealer printed everything out for me and pricing matched exactly to the invoice pricing I...

Re: Help!!! Can't remove wheel to put spare on...

You do not need to be embarrased. This is very common on all modern vehicles with Aluminum wheels bolted onto Steel brake discs or drums. The disimilar metals corode over time and create a bond...

Re: "2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee probed for fire risk"

All the 2011 and 2012 JGC's have Power Steering. The difference is that on some 2011, then all 2012 production, the V6 models converted over to running the power steering with an Electrical Pump. ...

Re: 1st Oil Change Disaster

I did that also............about 25 years ago on a Toyota Celica. Except in my case, I spilled the oil all over my Mom's driveway! Needless to say she was not a hppy camper and had a devil of a...

Re: What comes with the jack/spare tire area?

I believe that Jeep actually changed the design of the 2012 jack to incorporate the sames elements as the "cover" used on the 2011 models. For 2011, you use the jack without the cover for the front...
