Re: New Upgraded Headlights

Headlights came in a couple of days ago, but I won't have time to install them until later next week, hopefully by Friday.

I'd take some pics of them too, but there's not much to show because...

Re: Omg. Bizzzzzzzard

I like seeing all of this snow falling, but dislike that none of it is falling in the dry as a bone Sierras. I think we've probably had a max total of 2 ft. snowfall on the valley floor all year and...

Yeah, that's not going to happen unless the 6.4 get's dropped under the hood.

Dig your old WJ build. Wish I would've been able to do more to mine while I had it.

Ah, I see. I thought it looked more like the location of the plastic trans cover, but saw in your other pic that it looked like the front cover, so I assumed it was the same piece.

Anyway, both of...

Extremely lucky you didn't hydrolock your engine going that fast through the puddle. And I'd be a little more worried about dragging the bottom around too. That plastic piece you removed was probably...

I didn't choose any options from a selection list on their site.

I coordinated the idea with someone via email first and then we decided what to do there.

Re: New Upgraded Headlights

I think I may have gotten them for a discounted price because they were the first ones they've done, but I paid around $800 and the process took just over a month to get them done and shipped.

Have you had any worse rubbing issues with these being a bit larger than the Trail Grapplers or is it about the same or better?

Re: Icon Dynamics 2.5" Coilover kit

Well, at least some other companies are trying to dabble a bit with parts for our Jeeps. Can't say I'm in need of a kit that's so extreme or expensive though.

Thanks for the reply and info.

Re: Eibach All-Terrain Lift Installed

Pretty sure they'd be using the Eibach shocks it came with, if they purchased the whole lift kit they sell.

Re: Biggest 17" tires on stock wheels?

Largest you can go is about a 32" - 33" tire with a lift. Options for 17's are limited...they are 265/70, 275/70, possibly 255/80 or 285/70 depending upon the outside diameter of the specific tire,...

Re: 17" wheels on Altitude?

I have a feeling they will most likely fit with no problem if those are the specs, but I can't say for sure. They seem close enough to WK2 OEM offset that it wouldn't alter the fitment very much....

Re: 17" wheels on Altitude?

Depending upon the offset then, you are probably okay using those, but you may need a spacer to clear the caliper if they have too low of an offset.

Re: 275/65/18 Duratracs on Mopar Wheels!

Is the spare a Duratrac too?

Those sidewall lugs definitely add more to the width, so I'm just curious if that could be a part of the tight fit.

So, this person was imagining the ~1" drop they got when they swapped out the springs to SRT ones?

Re: Cleghorn Ridge 1/11/15 Slippery When Wet!

Yeah, I'd imagine pretty much any AT designed tread pattern would clog up really fast in most muddy terrains. They just don't have that ability to clear like the wider lug patterns of an MT.

Good...

Re: 17" wheels on Altitude?

As already said, if you have the larger HD brakes, that will be the first problem to look for and the 17's will not fit over them. If you don't have them, they will probably fit.

Next to look at...
