Re: Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

4.1 sec is fantastic! Faster than anything Jeep claims. It's Sunday night, and I'm catching up with a flurry of posts.

Re: Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

WKJeeps.com is operated by the famous Milous, a major contributor and all round guru on this forum. You will find recalls and TSBs there, but the 5 or 6 updates we have been talking about on this...

Re: Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

Hey guys. Have any of you been able to do any 0-60 times under good conditions? I did some driving under Sport and Track and found the shifting to be less smooth than in Auto. I believe these...

Re: Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

I generally drive in Auto mode, and it really does feel like a custom tune. I wish I had a safe place to test 0 to 60. I'm equally impressed by the improvement to the drivetrain...silky smooth shifts...

Re: 4WD transfer case problem

This sounds serious and I'm not sure just the TSB will correct it. But at minimum, you should do the TSB. I'm no expert here, but I thought the transfer case used high viscosity oil, not hydraulic...

Re: Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

Glad I could be of help. After you drive for awhile, let us know how you like the updates. I wasn't aware of the one for the a/c. What does it do?

Re: Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

I don't have anywhere near my home where I can do timed runs safely, not even 0 to 60. If you do any timed runs, could you post them. After driving for a week, I really believe that the engine has a...

Thanks for the detailed explanation of the five updates SRTBLK. I really thought one of the updates was for the engine management power curve. It's not my imagination, but my engine is now more...

My dealer did tell me about these updates, but from now on it does seem to be word of mouth. I guess it depends on the dealer.

Alert: Module Software Updates for 2012

I took my 2012 SRT to my dealer last week for the annual state inspection, and he told me that there were five module software updates for my vehicle. I mentioned that I had done all the available...

Re: Oil Spraying to prevent rust?

I wouldn't bother. My son and I have owned 5 Jeeps (1 Wrangler, 2 GCs, 2GCSRTs) and kept them all for a minimum of 6 years, with never a spot of rust. I've never done an oil spray...isn't it kind...

I've never looked at mine yet. If I have a problem, I'll be able to show AAA where it's at. Good video.

Re: Warning to all getting their Wk2 exhaust done

Why don't you just buy something like the Borla ATAK? I've had one since new and it sounds fabulous at wot, and the cabin is quiet at cruising speed. Love it!

Re: What caused damage to my front tires inner edges only

It looks like your alignment went off at some point. 32000 miles on these tires is excellent, so you probably won't get any sympathy from your dealer or Pirelli. Driving on the cords can be dangerous...

Re: Almost GO TIME...Ripp supercharger inhand and ready for install

I know that my first 2006 Jeep 6.1 SRT8 had 16 plugs, but I'm not sure about the 5.7, because it was never used in a SRT product.

Re: Getting an SRT8, But have a couple questions before i buy.

Any way you can keep the Yaris for tooling around town, and use the SRT8 for major trips, special events, etc? This way you will put lower mileage on the Jeep, so the big expenses (brakes and tires)...

Re: anyone else prefer not to have the panoramic sunroof?

I love the big sunroof on my 2012 and have it open at every opportunity. It would be even better if the glass would retract full length, but of course there is no space left in the roof for it to go....

Re: 6290 mile road trip through 14 states

I didn't realize that the 2014 had switched to Redline red pearl, from the Deep Cherry red. From your photo Scott, Redline does look more like the old Inferno red. Does anyone have a side by side?

Is this your third SRT8...the '07, '12 and now the '14? That's fantastic. Do you still have them all? My son has my old '06, now with 104,000 miles, so they are both still in the family.

Re: '12 & '13 Owners - Class action suit against Jeep
