Re: Oil changes - SO easy

That's the easy part. You must not like the exfoliating properties of 5w-20 oil on your hands and arms. Which brand valve did you go with? I'm thinking of trying it out on my truck. We use the...

Re: Oil changes - SO easy

I change the oil on my hemi last night for the 1st time and found it easier to remove the body pan wannabe skidplate. Is this the best method?

Re: WK in for body work

Yeah it only had 5 more miles on it since I dropped it off. So it had to be either siphoned or just ran with the a/c on. I wish I would have logged the hour meter. The bottom-line is that these guys...

Re: WK in for body work

It's back. FINALLY. I can honestly say that I would never recommend Boulevard GMC Collision Center to anyone ever. (I know not a factory center, but that's who the dealer is using). Not only did they...

WK in for body work

It's only been a couple of weeks and the WK2 is in for body repair. 2 weeks ago I detailed the Jeep (Clay, Polish & Wax). Noticed that the drivers door was not aligned correctly. Bottom of door was...

Re: Rear Axle Differential

I could only find redline gear oil in that grade with a gl-5 cert. I really wish Valvoline or Mobile one had this grade. Is there any other options in 75w-85?

Re: Rear Axle Differential

Thank you everyone. I feel reassured that this will be a fairly straight forward maintenance. My service adviser said they use 75W-140 for all diffs. That seems crazy when the book says 75W-85 for...

Re: Rear Axle Differential

Yeah I think your right. I called the dealer and the parts counter pulled the build sheet and didn't see ELSD and then proceeded to say "Oh yeah, its not even a 4wd". He did say its a 122mm axle...

Re: Rear Axle Differential

Yep. Got under the car last night. No electric motor on the driver-side. So I got me an open rear end. I'm defiantly not "Trail Rated" by any means. Also upon inspection I cant figure for the life of...

Re: Rear Axle Differential

So there is no way to know until I pull the cover off. The steallarship said they think it's without elsd based on the vin codes.

Rear Axle Differential

How can I find out which rear axle I have? It's an overland 2wd hemi. I see the manual shows one with ELSD and one without, also one for front and rear which I'm assuming is for the 3.6L. Just like...
