Re: 2015 power steering failure

Mine has been below MIN a maybe half an inch, but at the same spot, since I checked it a few days after having it back. I will have them top it off next service. I assume since my pump was new, they...

Re: Cancelled my Overland order from Jeep...

Watch the windshield tint, it doesn't stick well to the dotted or solid surround of the windshield, so the edges could end up goofed. I had a sunstrip added with the front windows, the guy didn't...

Re: Do I have any recourse here?

Tell him you want it finished properly or you're going to complain directly to Jeep. And that you'll leave negative Google and other online reviews clearly stating your issue and giving them a low...

Re: New to the board... What Grand Cherokee should i buy??

With a Jeep, you will appreciate every possible option you can afford to get. But you will probably not appreciate the repair cost and frequency.

Re: New Member: Leasing Advice

I am leasing a 2015 Overland, just got it about 2 months ago. It is a trickier financing option to understand, I was very frustrated negotiating this deal until it got to the "number" I had figured...

Re: Rattle Trap

I have a 2015 Overland, there is some rattle on the passenger side I have not bothered to track down yet, but it's pretty persistent. I tend to think "well, if that's the one, it's okay, cause if I...

Re: Tire & Wheel Protection

No, that's more than two destroyed tires, and as mentioned flats are cheap repairs at a legit garage anywhere, you can even get a repair kit and learn to do it yourself if you're driving where...

Re: Advice wanted on WK-2--new on here

Sounds like you're informed on the models/features. Just to expand your knowledge, the Laredo 4x4 has QuadraTrac I, which is more an all-wheel drive system so it is quite capable. I had a 2012...

2015 power steering failure

I have a brand new, 3 week old, 300 mile Overland. Yesterday when parking at work, I noticed a drip trail to my space. I thought it was just A/C condensation and went to work. Leaving work, there was...

Re: Best information to bring when negotiating price?

All good info to have. I like TrueCar but keep in mind you can probably do much better than what they list as a good deal on a Jeep right now. However if you don't want to deal/negotiate, that is...

Re: Question about Chrysler Capital Leases

Re: Question about Chrysler Capital Leases

I just traded in an Ally lease with equity. Weird and confusing thing, I had to buy it first, which means I had to pay sales tax. Lease equity has become more common, and leasing companies have...

Re: Call from dealer to trade in?=

Check on the trade-in and private resale values, the Jeep resales are high right now, and dealers are looking to profit from it. They're probably hoping to trade you up for nothing, make $1000s on...

Re: Teach me how to care for this thing!

Hmmm, really? I offered my advice as it shouldn't be that messed up for clay or even wax, and an inexperienced home detailer probably shouldn't clay at all. But that makes me curious, and I never...

Re: Teach me how to care for this thing!

2015? First don't wax or clay it any time soon, not only doesn't it need it, you could ruin the clear coat - often why you see "swirls" in a lot of unpolished paints, someone was too rough with it in...

Re: What are the best three power upgrades for the 3.6L V6?

I've been using K&N filters for years. They don't really do much but make it feel a little more responsive, which may be what you are looking for. There's no "Wow." Nothing is going to boost HP or...

Re: Good price on 2015 Limited?

Re: Good price on 2015 Limited?

What's the price without the trade? There's two numbers, the price of what you're buying, and the price of your trade, I always think of them as separate deals. Make sure your discount on the new one...

Re: Asking for help on how to not get ripped off.

A car is only going to depreciate, so we're only talking about how much of our money is tied up in the car. Leases lock you in and are a bit more confusing, but a purchase de facto locks you in for...

Re: Asking for help on how to not get ripped off.

Re: Asking for help on how to not get ripped off.

Sounds like it could be dried wax or soap from the car wash. Try the damp rag or soaking it, but don't swirl anything unless you're a fan of swirls in your paint. Soak it throughly, leave a damp rag...
