And besides that I always drove on LPG. I do not know the cams wear out due to the higher temperatures.

I didn't respond for some time, but I had nothing to tell, because I did not do anything with the car.
I bought myself another GC. I'm going to use the other car for the spareparts.

An oil or oil pump related problem seems to be very plausible.
Last summer the oil was thick like shit after eating a lot of bananas....
Indeed I waited too long with changing the oil...

My crankshaft bearing was destroyed last week. Driving a normal 100 km/h on the highway the engine made a "BRRRRKKRRBBRR" noise and within 200 or 300 meters the engine was dead.
