Re: WK2 Offroad

Spent most of Saturday at Stockton. Didn't get stuck once and I stayed in high range all day, this time the Jeep was unstoppable. It appeared to now have the right gears selected all the time.

The...

Re: Wk2 towing a 30 foot boat

In Australia, its common to tow those kind of weights behind "SUV's". We do however have stricter laws on trailer brakes. Eg. In my state anything over 1600kg needs brakes on all axles, anything over...

Only...

Re: What does ORA group on Overland come with?

So far I have used it on a number of rock steps, just set the selec-speed point it at the rock steps and let it do its thing, you can feel the car control power delivery to each corner as you go up.

Re: MY2014 GC Limited Springs

Yeah, one end of the springs is attached to the hitch on the vehicle, the other end attaches to the trailer via chains, as the spring goes across the tow bar joint the tension forces the joint...

Re: MY2014 GC Limited Springs

Re: MY2014 GC Limited Springs

Can't tell for sure but your axle group looks to be about 30cm back from the manufacturers website. This will have a big effect on ball weight, as will the half tonne fuel tank that I'm guessing is...

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I bought an Overland with Indigo blue interior specifically because of the silver trim, the gold is hideous in my opinion. I am still waiting on delivery but the build sheet clearly states it has...

No it's definitely an Australian spec Jeep, getting delivered to Sydney, it has been sitting at the holding facility for a few days so hopefully will be on the train to the port soon.
