Whelp... looks like I should have done a little research (as I usually do...) before having my glass replaced - rain sensor does not work - in Hurricane Sandy no less. Had Safelite replace it...

Traded my '07 Acura MDX in on my '11 GC Limited. No regrets (at the same time, no complaints on the MDX, loved that thing).

Nevermind! Found my answer in another thread... low fuel indicator is on, therefore remote start is disabled.

Remote Start 'Aborting'

Out of the blue my remote start began 'aborting' ('remote start aborted' message on the screen when driver door is opened) within about 5 seconds after starting. Any thoughts?

Just throwing this out there... (not sure price dif between the OEM black and chrome) but there are a lot of places out there that chrome items and for something that small it might be fairly...

Russ,

I used a putty knife/scraper to pry up the top ribbed black step pad. Start from the corners and work your way down. You shouldnt need a ton of force, push in and pull up and the clips...
