Re: Venting the Sunroof

No, for this platform, the sun-shade for the pano roof cannot be closed partially or at all if the roof is open even a fraction. AFAIK, it's been that way since MY11 when the platform was introduced.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

That would be a purely subjective reaction...I'm sure that some folks will love the refreshed fascia and others will loath it. In a few months, most folks will not even notice the difference. :)

Re: First impressions of 2016 3.6L Pentastar

I have and routinely get 20-22 mpg on highway driving with the Hemi. My EVIC is actually pretty accurate over time. That said, my next vehicle will not have a big V8 because at that point, my need...

Re: Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus or Michelin Defender LTX M/S

Silver', I replaced the Forteras at 6/32 because I had a 3000 mile family vacation coming up and felt that was the right way to go. The Nittos just got replaced at 4/32...they were getting noticeably...

Re: 2016 Summit suspension settings

silver', I got the v-rated Pirellis. I never had any complaints about the Forteras ride. I think that the Pirellis may be "in between" the Fortera and the Nittos, but it's been two years since I had...

Re: tires are whooped... 19k miles!!!

I don't know if there's a pattern, 1st', but I do think that one has to be careful with the tread compound with a heavier vehicle like the JGC. While a lot of the time, most of us don't like to think...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I actually recently put an AEM air filter on mine at 70K...I got tired of the cleaning and oiling of the K&N. It's a nice product for the money. The OEM intake is already pretty efficient, so it's...

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

It's absolutely true that if you are at the extremes of the QL travel (OR-II or Park) you will feel bumps if they cause you to hit the stops. Neither of these height levels were designed to handle...

Enough of the personal insults, please. Discuss; argue, postulate, share recipes, whatever. But "be nice" and please stop making more work for the moderators.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Re: No 2017 High Altitude?

In the first post of the MY17 Pricing and Features thread, there is a bullet that says there will be an "Altitude" package which if things are consistent with previous, will be based on the Laredo.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

You should be using 87 octane...as per your manual. You'll get no benefit from 93 except less money in your account. E85 is optional since the V6 is a "flex fuel" vehicle, but you'll get far less...

Re: Recall- 2016 Jeep GC for bad transmission wiring harness

Software only for the MY14-15. The MY16 issue is for a limited number of vehicles and is a completely different situation than the MY14-15.
