I presume this is happening in the US..here I just got a 7000 km vehicle's (JGC LAREDO- AU) transmission changed and now I am stuck with the car sticking in 6th @ 60km whereas the older/factory...

Well they changed the transmission and now it shifts as this car should however still wary of the fact that IF it is indeed new what will happen once it's "learnt" driving patterns

That's ok. You see knowing the VIN/rego number I can prove that these cars have had the same trouble and may make my case for the same fixes

Yeah that'd be great, I would like some from home too, any guys in Australia that have their control valves changed that can send their VIN or a registration number,through PM ,that would really help

if possible I need the number plate of your vehicles (PM will do) that have had a change of the valve body and with it a change in the behaviour...

Well to put prices in perspective my laredo 4x4 (with the cam, cd, uconnect 8, and the18's) was for 48k AUD in nov last year, that's the cost I bore for this vehicle.

Just brought back mine (laredo 4x4) from its 6mo service (early 2013 build), they did say there was a TSB on the transmission but I don't recall reading one here, and uconnect still stuck on 4.13

This is after the local paint and dent guy was done with the repairs!!!! the people from Aussie guard entrust the man who did this job for me after I paid them a grand for paint and dent protection...

What I actually meant was, the chip removed the paint till the undercoat,

What the guy did was put some filler then painted over the material with some kind of acrylic paint he...
