Re: ECO mode question

Our experience as well. ECO is perfectly fine. Shifts smooth and no lugging.

Re: Do You Wax?

Use the same Klasse stuff and couldn't be more pleased. Best of all, the sealant glaze is cumulative so you can put on multiple coats and the shine and protection just increase. And a little goes a...

Re: Transmission is starting to get very annoying

Everyone should get the flash, but putting it into Sport for the 5 seconds needed to merge onto the highway or whatever isn't going to be a big hit on MPG.

Re: Transmission is starting to get very annoying

Just pull the transmission lever back and put it in Sport, as if downshifting a stick.

Re: Auto Comfort feature Always Defaults On In Cold Weather - FIX

Not a big deal, but it would be nice to program whether you want the hi or lo setting for the heated driver's seat when starting.

Re: Holy smacks! My JGC just moved itself out of the driveway

Bravo, SW03ES. I can't believe some of the nonsense I'm reading here. My "limb length" is a 36 inch inseam and applying the parking brake is not a "circus act." Whether it is next to the...

Re: Summit Seat Comfort

Superb seats in our Overland. Firm, supportive, and very adjustable. Can't imagine Summit seats differ other than type of leather surface.

Re: Holy smacks! My JGC just moved itself out of the driveway

You're not really trying to tell us that the GC's parking brake is difficult to use, are you? That is simply ridiculous. Circus act? Give us all a break...and give yourself a "brake."

Re: Consumer Reports Drops Grand Cherokee Recommendation

Don't forget the rear struts and mounts, water in the battery compartment and the box under the driver's seat, faulty ground connections, the "bowed" liftgate handle, and on and on. But I'm sure...

Re: Consumer Reports Drops Grand Cherokee Recommendation

JGCs began shipping 1Q2013. When did Durangos first ship? If the number of surveys returned to CR is inadequate, they can't rate reliability.

Re: floor & cargo mats

Yes. The fit on the front passenger side is wrong, and they won't correct it. There is a single hole in the center of the passenger-side mat for a hook, and that's apparently an old GC design. The...

Re: Looking for a good quality leather cleaner and conditioner

Your leather is coated with plastic/vinyl. Using a leather conditioner is just wasting your time...and money.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Panoramic sunroof is wonderful. Makes the interior much brighter on dreary days--like right now in the northeast. No issues with it so far.

Re: Missing Display, Recall Notice and Airbag Codes...

The 2014 has a permanent "glitch" in the lane departure warning. It's not a feature on the car. It does, however, have blind spot monitoring, and I suspect that's what you meant.

Thanks for posting this. I am always amazed by how much time and money people spend putting leather conditioner on plastic-coated leather...when the conditioner never gets anywhere near the leather.
