Re: Jeep service costs

I paid $286 for a non oil change service on my CRD, so I think Maxy9 got a great deal.
Considering it would have taken well under an hour to complete, it still costs a lot, but it is still a good...

Re: Sydney SRT Club

My best was a 13.4 and my worst a 13.6
My best 60' was 1.9 and worst a 3.1, but I screwed my 2nd launch when the LC aborted, so I just floored it.
Great meeting you guys, we stayed around for the...

I hope you sanded them and primed it first.

Re: 12-15 SRT Door Sills

I would like to get some illuminated SRT ones, but they only come with GC at the moment.
I think the Black Chrome would look great, but would scratch easily due to their location and use.

Re: The biggest change for the '15

People are confusing the RED package contents with the general '15 SRT.
It looks like the Red option has the illuminated SRT badge, when the non RED option SRT does not.

Mine clunks as well. I am not so fussed as I cam from FPV's and Ford thought that 50mm of driveline backlash was acceptable.
I got used to the clunking, and I am sure you will too as the...

Re: Noise in wheel arch

That clicking sound is the ABS pump priming the system for the brakes. It is worse if you have ACC, as it does it while ACC is active.

Re: The biggest change for the '15

That logo looks Embossed (stamped) not stitched like the black seats.
It also looks more like Plether, not real hide leather.

Re: This should be some more incentive for Chrysler to make the Hellcat

I would say that weird noise is the Bi-Modal system. My SRT has a similar sound and it is the flaps in the system rattling.

Re: How to: install Phillips Ultinon LED fog light bulbs from XenonDepot

Yep, $15 for the tool and $40 for the shipping. Not a big deal as I can wait 2 months until I am there in the USA. I am planning to buy several things for the SRT while Stateside.

Re: Quadra Lift

The QL is a sealed system and uses Nitrogen.
If it is indeed leaking, it will not leak for long, as the system will run out of Nitrogen and throw up an error. You might end up being a low rider.

Scott,
Got any tips on fitting the globes ? I have some LED's that I want to fit.
From what I can see you need to pull the inner fender liners off to get access.

Re: What do people upgrade to from the SRT Jeep?

In Australia, you could get 2.5 SRT's (80k) for a ML63(180k), nearly 3 for a Turbo Caynne (220k).
Anyone getting out of a SRT in AU, you would be hard pressed getting into anything in comparison...

It would be a Wednesday at WSID (http://www.sydneydragway.com.au/events/) (Eastern Creek), you get there at 5pm, go through screwtineering then have about 5-10 runs depending on turnout and weather.
