Dealer called today - another TIPM arrived and was installed today. Programmed with no issue. Pick up ready tomorrow morning. Is this possible - or is it a dream?

Bad news. They installed the new TIPM and could not program it. It was a faulty TIPM. I'm not surprised... the wait continues...

PS - I asked about price - it's not a recall item. They gave...

Exactly my issue. Read back through this thread... the TIPM controls many things, one of them being the fuel pump.

My Dealer just called. The TIPM arrived this morning. My Jeep will be ready this afternoon. No discussion on price vs. a recall item.

Mine had 54K miles on it.

Dealer called again today to say they are still waiting on the TIPM. Still expecting delivery on 9/10.

Yes and I've been told that its' been expedited. I heard from my Case Mgr once - when he was first assigned the case. Haven't heard from him since. My Dealer has been calling me daily...

My dealer just called and said that he was told my ship date is currently September 10th. He also confirmed that mine would be coming from the new vendor. He told me that there were 748 people...

I just got off the phone with my Dealer. Apparently Chrysler is changing suppliers now. No TIPM and no ETA. He has been told "sometime near end of September." Not good.

I just got off of my daily phone call with my Dealer. He informed me that 600 TIPMs were released to the central parts department. They should start shipping any day now. He expects to have mine...

I was assigned a Chrysler Case Manager today. He told me that they would do everything they could to expedite the delivery of the TIPM. No ETA.

I posted my issue in the other mentioned thread, but to answer your question - yes, Chrysler paid for a rental car. I was told that I was #207 on the back order list for this part today...

Turned out to be a faulty WIN (Wireless Ignition Node). Was a warranty item. Dealer replaced it. Back in business!

Dealer just informed me that I had a faulty Wireless Ignition Node [WIN] which is the component that recognizes the key fob

I hope that this is covered by warranty.
