That's kinda what I've heard, the 730N is a little more feature rich (VR on the nav & traffic updates), but it sounds like there's lots of little headaches on that model they don't have ironed out...

Yeah, that's the post I had actually started with and was using it to locate a similar "string" in the firmware update files. Later down in that thread they say the string changes based on the model...

Quite easy to pull the HDD, on the back of the unit there are two Phillips head screws and then the HDD just pulls out in a tray. However, I would expect you to be in the same boat, IE. password...

The HDD in my 430N is an IDE/ATA interface and is made by Hitachi. It's a 40GB model that is made specifically for automotive applications, model # is: hej421040g9at00
