Re: Progress...

That really sucks for them. Honestly you should do the right thing and call them and tell them about this, word for word, just like in this post. It's upsetting they didn't even check for you and I...

Re: Opinions on '11-'12 Overland's subwoofer

It's not just the Overland that has the built-in sub and the Alpine 7.1 audio system. It's also standard on the Limited and optional on the Laredo.

Re: 2012 owners: has the hemi shudder issue been resolved?

"First-year issues" were resolved for everyone, including first years, with a software update.

Re: Chrysler Extended Warranty Prices

Just so you are aware chryslerfactoryplans.com sells the same plan for $1830. And this web site is owned and operated by Ziegler Jeep in Schaumburg.

Re: Overland Alarm goes off for no reason

I've had the exact same problem but it only happened once. Same error message too. Hopefully an update can come out to correct this.

Re: Why little to no confirmed info on 2012 6sp auto?

How is that possible though? The final drive ratio is the exact same either way.

Re: Problem with TSB 18-035-11

Weird, I had the flash done too and just last week my wife and I are sitting in the living room and the Jeep alarm started going off for absolutely no reason. I thought nothing of it but perhaps you...

Re: V6 High Pitched Sound

This is exactly it. With the Hemi the noise only occurs between 1000-1200 rpm with the A/C on. I'm glad people can replicate this. I hope they find a solution to this annoying problem.

Re: V6 High Pitched Sound

I'll take your word for it, but powered down audio components will indeed feedback from engine/AC. I've run into this problem on multiple custom audio installs in the past.

Re: V6 High Pitched Sound

Can the OP or a mod change the title of this thread as it also affects the Hemi engine and not just the V6?

BTW I have a feeling the high pitched noise does have to do with the A/C as it goes away...

Re: V6 High Pitched Sound

Wow I'm so thankful for this forum.

I too have the exact same problem, and I have the Hemi with a build date of 10/2011. I was beginning to think I was the only one hearing this but then my wife...

HEMI: Getting +1.5mpg better with use of Regular Unleaded (87).

Just a FYI. Have the Hemi and read through some old gasoline threads where a couple people reported getting better gas mileage with 87 octane. Well add me to that list. Have been using 89 octane...

Re: Is this method of Locking yourself out universal?

But this isn't the old days. My wife keeps the key in her purse and never takes it out for anything. Yet she unlocks the door with the waive of her hand, and hits a button to start the car. All...

Re: very tempted to trade for Hemi

People on the Acura forum thought I was crazy for trading in my new TSX for another new TSX because I grew to hate the color. I ended up paying around $6000 for the "opportunity" but I was happy I...

Is there a "Maintenance Minder"?

Misplaced my manual. I'm assuming a 2011 car like this one has a Maintenance Minder if my old 2006 Civic did. In other words, the car senses and analyzes the oil, driving conditions, miles, etc., and...

Re: 2011 Chicago Auto Show Jeep display. Lots of pics

There's nothing "fragile" about the MDX. I had one, my dad had one, and my brother-in-law all had one at one time and we drove them for years and none of us ever had a single problem.

Re: FYI - Ford Explorer vs. GC review

I couldn't even buy a Explorer if I wanted to. In Chicago our parking stalls/garages are exactly 90" wide. I imagine other cities like New York and San Francisco it's not much different. The Ford...

Re: UPDATE...2011 Nav. Systems

Re: UPDATE...2011 Nav. Systems

Have to say I disagree on both points.

Though you may be technically correct, the fact is that the Garmin has an updated interface and doesn't suffer from any issues with navigation, so it's...

Re: Gas milage? Post your results!

70 mph highway I get about 20.5 mpg with the Hemi. 1500 miles on the car. Use 89 octane. Chicago.

Garmin/430N nav problem: Address/City/Intersection "washed out" and not accessible!

Does anyone else have this issue? Sometimes after pressing "Where to?" on the Garmin 430N unit, the Address, City, Intersection, and a couple of the other "Where to?" options get "greyed out" and not...

Re: Can you change out the interior TRIM? Anyone try? Anyone interested?

No, the Limited has a regular steering wheel. I hate wood steering wheels. :)

BTW I called my local dealer and they didn't know how they would be removed. If you want to do the same and you find...

Re: Can you change out the interior TRIM? Anyone try? Anyone interested?

I will, I just want to find out how this is done first as I'm not sure if they pop off or they are actually welded to the paneling. If they are welded/glued on their I would be surprised and...

Re: Can you change out the interior TRIM? Anyone try? Anyone interested?

Why would one need to unplug the airbag just to change out the wood trim? In my Acura and Audi the wood trim just pulled off. Are you saying that the Cherokee requires removing the entire interior...

Can you change out the interior TRIM? Anyone try? Anyone interested?

Got a 2011 Limited and am loving it. Love everything except for maybe the wood grain trim. I think the black grain trim from the Laredo black interiors would look much better and want to change out...
