I just checked to make sure none of the signal wires are crossing the power wire except at the amp where they plug in. :(

I just can't believe that the PAC harnesses are majic or something. Dumb to have to pay $100+ for a harness to get everything wired the way its supposed to :confused:.

Finally got around to doing this. I stoped by advanced auto. They were $12 after tax. Not bad! I installed it in the parking lot. Good thing I did because it required a star bit screw driver...

Thanks averyone for the help. I "fixed" the exhaust leak issue. I just tightened up all the bolts on the exhaust (not the manifold bolts) and it went away. I still need to order the resistor but...

I was told by a shop I trust yesterday that the '05 JGC (dont know if its just '05s) is one of the few vehicles that require an extra module for remote start. Its the idatalink ADS-ALCA fyi.
