Re: Looking to buy Overland. Some questions.

^^^ A good salesman right there :)

I'd agree on all fronts. That's a great price.

Re: Another reason to have a bumper guard

I appreciate your kind words and I didn't mean to direct everything back at you... my apologies. A sore point I guess. Thanks for not lashing back.

Re: Another reason to have a bumper guard

I hate to run off on a tangent here, but I hope that you're at least driving in the far right lane (assuming one is available) if you're driving at the posted limit. I understand the "limit" but...

Re: My new wheels

I wouldn't go quite this far, but I agree with his point. Wheels can make or break a vehicle and going with an option that lends itself to being "basic" for a lack of a better term can leave A LOT...

Re: Do You Detail?

I hear ya. That and the back part of the Weather Tech mat (the part closest to the driver) doesn't have a large enough lip. During heavy snow, water is constantly running over that lip and under...

Re: Cleaning Summit Interior

Just like every vehicle I've ever owned (MB's, BMW's and this Jeep) just use a microfiber towel. 99.9% of the time this works along with water if necessary.

Lexol is always a nice option for the...

Lookin' sharp!! With all of the extras offered on the Summit, why not just opt for the Summit to begin with?

Re: What are new owners buying for their new Jeeps?

There isn't much extra needed for the Summit unless you're looking to "delete" the chrome. I like the factory look, but also like it deleted. I'm very particular about the cars we have and how...

Re: Grand Cherokee 2014 (Latest Model) factory tint VLT

I did 20% on the fronts for my '14 Summit, but I almost wish I would've done 15%. It looks nice, but not a perfect match since it looks like it's just under 20%...

Re: 2011 Overland Summit ---> 2014 Summit, was it worth it?

Good comparison and a great read!

I've been pleased with the overall quality of the '14 Summit so far, but I also have less than 5,000 miles on the clock so far. Fingers crossed.

Re: Seat belt extension

I guess I don't understand. Why wouldn't you just use the latch mounting points on each seat? I keep 2 car seats installed in the back seat 100% of the time (1 front facing, 1 rear facing).

Re: Picking up a brand new 14, need opinions!

My '14 Summit (white exterior / brown interior) with a November '13 build looks to have a different interior or is the brightness coming into play here? The bronze looks much more prevalent in yours.
