Re: OK...so these stock pads HAVE to GO!!!! New rotors coming!

Aside from looks do you have a performance reason to swap out what is already an expensive and quality rotor? From a performance standpoint I would be much more inclined to go with a slotted rotor,...

Re: 2012 jEEP srt8 Flashed ECU WOW!!

If you are planning to heavily modify your SRT down the road then yes, this will become obsolete, just like the stock program that's in the truck now. Of course If you are planing mods down the road...

Re: Should I trade in my Over Land to SRT8 now?

All 2012 SRT's were supposed to be customer orders, there were no dealer stock orders allowed. At least that was the official line last fall by both Chrysler and the dealers. What's happend is,...

Re: What's the deal with the half-a$$ SRT exhaust valves???

They serve 2 purposes, reduced reversion to help performance when in MDS mode and muffling the horrid sound the engine makes in MDS mode. Remove at your own risk. If you must hear what it sounds...

Re: Oil Change

I just had an interesting visit to the local dealer for an oil change. I have 3000 miles on the clock, the oil service message came up at 2700. When i took it to my selling dealer the service...

Re: Has anyone had their Michelin Latitude Tour Tires replaced by Jeep?

Forget the dealer, go to a local tire store, preferable a large chain, and work a deal out with them. They will tell you how they want to handle it, either delivering the tired to the dealer or...

Re: X5m vs Cayenne Turbo vs 2012 SRT8 by MotorTrend

I think they missed that one because the damping isn't called out like it is on the German cars. The Selectrac is "foreign" to them (Pun intended).

Like you I didn't see the results as a...

Re: 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - MSRP Pricing

There are a lot of misconceptions out there about what the dealer's pay, where their margin's are and what terms like invoice, supplier price and employee price. It's really quite simple but people...

Re: Different wheels needed

Yeah, those are on my Boxster S and although they are more difficult to clean their look and performance make it all worth while.

At least I'm not anal enough to own these lug nut hole cleaners :)...

Re: 2012 srt Cherokee hood

I agree and I didn't mean to insinuate that it doesn't happen. I also need to clarify my comments since everyone seems to feel the need to chastise me for an opinion.

On initial read of the first...

2500 miles towing a 5000 lb enclosed trailer without a single issue!

With all the negativity that seems to permeate this section of the forum I thought I'd post something positive for a change.

We just finished a nice little trip that took us from Central Florida...

Re: Nighttime auto color mode not working

Actually the dimmer on the WK2 has 2 top detentes vs. the traditional 1. On the top setting the dome lights come on, as you would expect, but on the second detente the radio and some other lights...

Re: Which tires should I buy, you be the judge

I got the Michelin Latitude Tour HP's installed yesterday and they are, IMHO a perfect match to the Overland with 20" wheels. They simply work

Ride comfort is excellent

Re: Which tires should I buy, you be the judge

UPDATE:

These tires are coming off Monday! I had the opportunity to tow my trailer with these and the ride was borderline scary. The sidewalls are so soft and the tread squirm so bad under load...

Re: Which tires should I buy, you be the judge

OK, so I got the Yoko's installed yesterday but have only put 50 miles and 2 heat cycles through them so this is not a comprehensive review.

The first thing that caught my eye was there much wider...

Re: Aftermarket HID info and pictures

It's not the reflectors that are the problem, it's the kits themselves. In many of the first kits (and some of the crap kits out there today) they just slap a bulb onto a base and take no time to...
