Re: LED's upper and lower on while driving?

Nice! Why on earth would you want them to dim? As far as the ribbon (around the headlights), I'm getting tired of them already. Everybody and his grandma has them now. I'd be happy to deactivate them...

Re: Off Road Mods

Initially, I was looking towards doing the same thing. Maybe lifting it a few inches, enuf to fit some nice AT's under there and have enough clearance to drive over anything higher than 4". We get a...

Re: Custom Tune for Intune

C'mon man, you kidding me?

The 8 speed doesn't give you more than .1 or .2 at the most, and I doubt it even gives you that in a 0-60.

Again, wasn't trying to be a smartass. I'm just...

Re: RIPP Superchargers 2012-2014 SRT Video Walk Around & Dyno

It's a shame that the OP never posted back. Especially on a vehicle-specific site such as this one :(

Re: Is this bad?

Considering that oil cokes at around 250*F, I'd say that your sensor's fooked ;)

Re: A few questions about my 14 SRT

Be patient. The 6.4 seems to need a much longer period to really loosen up, some people report noticing a real difference once they've had a few thousand miles on the truck.

As well, the WK2 is...

Children are highly over-rated..... :p

$8k installed for the numbers mentioned truly is impressive and hard to be, imho

Re: Custom Tune for Intune

I was wondering just what you were expecting from an awd 5000 lb pig 'till I read your stock 0-60 times. That's terrible bro. 5.1 was at what outside temps/DA?

Even now with your 4.5, I would...

Re: Clunk from P to D or P to R

Don't make yourself sick over it. My 14 does/does not do it. No particular conditions "seem" to cause it to come or go.

Re: Custom lights

I might be interested. What I miss/need is long-range lighting. I have a set of PIAA LP570 LED's on my FJ Cruiser which light up the backroads out here pretty well.

Do you think you could do...

Re: Ticking/Clicking noise.

Man, you weren't kidding when you said ticking/clicking.

Are you running over bumps when it does that? If not, then definitely something for you to let the dealer take care of.

Re: Jet 180 Thermostat for 2014 GC SRT Part #

Well, I haven't read about anyone getting a CEL after changing the stat without a tune, so I guess that's my next micro-mod.

Re: IAT Sensor and Timing

I remember reading about this. The theory was that when the IAT sensor saw 95* temps or higher, it would pull timing. But, the ECM wouldn't "give" back the timing it had pulled, even after the IAT...

Re: 2014 Jeep grand cherokee summit rolls in park

This exact issue has been documented on Chev Astro/GMC Safari's as well. It's the awd t-case which is the culprit. And as much as I hate to admit it, using your emergency brake is the only way you'll...

Off.

Sumbitch caused me to drop a load in my boxers when it, along with the accompanying sirens/bells/whistles and screen alerts all went off. :p

Never again!!!

The crank must be forged, right? Rods I wouldn't even guess, but I can't believe they'd put anything less than a forged crank in these beasts.

Re: Launch Control inquiry

You don't need such cold temps for god/better times. I'll check and see what temps they were running at. I think the DA (density Altitude) is really important as well though.

Re: Canadian 2014 SRT Performance Apps Button

I ran after problems on mine. Got the truck in May, asked the dealer to reflash the head unit in January. Until the reflash, I'd had only one black screen event and one freeze-up in 9 months.

Re: Launch Control inquiry

I've got a best of 4.0 at temps of +10*F. I've heard of guys cutting in the high 3's at warmer temps, so I've got my hopes up.:p
