Re: What's your other car?

Nice to see such great other vehicles from so many.

Steeler, I really like, as does my teenage daughter your Challenger, especially in that colour.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Does anyone know if Jeep fixed the obnoxiously loud radio buttons behind the steering wheel? Did they put quieter ones in the 16s?

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

Totally and utterly agree with this. Have recently come home from a two week road trip across Australia and I barely had to push the accelerator much at all to fly past even multiple road trains...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

I have the V6 and love it. I find it incredibly responsive and for a 2 ton SUV, the thing moves! I'm getting 11lts per 100kms town driving, so approx 22mpg, (my town driving is a combination of...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

The nice thing about the V8 is that it is a very well-tamed engine. You can loaf along with the texting commuters, slow trucks, etc. and it just relaxes and trundles along.
It doesn't load up,...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

If you are worried about NYC area merging speeds, get the Hemi... or an SRT. I used to hate merges even with a solid lifter'd 427 in that area.

Weekends if highway should be near 20.
Mixed...

What is this "gas mileage" thing you guys are talking about? I don't think my SRT came with that option.

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

The V6 is an awesome engine. Sure, if gas was free, I'd have an SRT Hell Cat.
If they made a V6 SRT I'd buy it in a heart beat. All the trimmings of an SRT with the V6 motor. I like the V6 as much...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

The V6 is plenty adequate. Power delivery is smooth and...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

I went from a 2012 overland V6 to a 15 HA V6. The 8 speed gets up and goes. I like it so much better. 290hp is enough for me. It gets up to speed quick on on ramps. I could have spent more on the v8...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

Not an owner yet. I live in NYC and was set on the V8, test drove both and I am convinced on the V6. Plenty of power, sounds good and cheaper. Unless you get a super deal on the V8 go for the V6,...

Expect 2, maybe 3mpg better with the V6. Nothing significant, but better nonetheless. The V6 will provide ample power for pretty much every driving situation short of drag racing. You'll get a little...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

With the available V6 and the 8-Speed transmission performance, I'd not hesitate to buy my next JGC with that instead of the Hemi I have now.
