Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

There are no official photos of a 2017 Limited yet, but the front end will be essentially the same as the 75th Anniversary Edition.

Re: 2015 Transmission Issue

To me, it sounds like the fluid level might have been underfilled. The experience you describe is exactly what my Wrangler did when it's fluid was low (due to a leak). When I replaced the leaking...

Re: Trouble getting replacement/buyback from Jeep for issue they admit they cant fix

This is pretty much a physical impossibility. If you brake -- your RPMs will change, if you change the amount of fuel or air -- your RPMs will change, if you change gears -- your RPM will change. ...

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

As far as I know, none exist yet. But look at the 75th anniversary editions or Trailhawk edition, as I suspect that the Laredo, Limited, and Overland will get a similar bumper.

Would the EcoDiesel ever go quad turbo?

BMW is pumping out 394hp and 561 lb-ft out of their new 3.0L six-cylinder turbo diesel -- all while getting 5% better fuel economy and getting the 7 series (which weighs about 400 lbs less than a...

Re: Uneek Rock Sliders for 2016 WK2, getting ready to pull the trigger

The RRO sliders also reduce ground clearance as they sit below the factory rockers -- vs. the Mopar or Uneek ones which replace the plastic rocker cover.

Re: Will history repeat itself? Will the WL be a boxy design again?

My guess is that the next design will be evolutionary of the very successful current one. I don't see them making drastic changes and definitely don't think it will be boxy.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

It's the same form factor. The dash would not change. From what was said at CES -- the hardware is upgraded for better performance -- so not just a software update.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I doubt it. It is a design refresh, not a new model so I doubt any significant structural changes were made. Those will be done in the 2019 model year.

I don't see any indication of them at all. Maybe when you trigger them, the whole grill flips open, a leprechaun hops out and washes them with Windex and a squeegee?

Re: Not available? Mopar Rock Rails for 2015 JGC Diesel

The standard Mopar rock rails have a rub rail that protrudes from the main rail. The Trailhawk rails do not have this. The Trailhawk rails are more discreet while sacrificing a bit of protection.
