Since it's near new, I'd be asking if they can take it and keep it until it's fixed, and give you a loaner. You will want to keep harassing them though, to make sure they are actually working on it.

Nah, in the Jeep there is a sensor receiver located near each wheel arch. So it knows the TPMS signal it receives is for that wheel.

I thought perhaps they just used the wrong image, but it is actually the Aus Jeep hook. But installing both sides, the part number must be wrong.

I thought selec-speed wasn't available on the diesel, only hill descent?

I haven't done much rock crawling yet in the grand, but I'd be trying 4lo and manual shift, as suggested above.

Plagued? I guess it has been plagued by suspension knocking, dpf and hard gear change issues, but these recalls seemed to be for issues that had never or in very few cases had actually...

But that is the point, in a mech 4wd you took what you could see and feel and applied direct control to the wheels in response. You had a good understanding of how the wheels would respond to driver...

I think this issue has been put in the too hard basket, plenty of car owners (with ESC) get lifts, and increase the height of their car with larger tyres, I haven't heard of any of them being booked...
