Re: Uconnect app shows wrong vehicle

I didn't even know that the color/trim was supposed to match. Mine shows a red summit, I have a maximum steel limited. Just figured that was the default. I guess I'll try uninstalling/reinstalling...

Re: always on usb

I think the accessory plug in the center console is anyways on. You'll need a phone charger though.

Looking for 52 pin Harness

I am planning on tapping into the can-bus to pull some information for a project I have in the works. I do not want to permanently alter any of the factory wiring so I want to make a jumper harness...

Re: Power Steering Fluid Low? Check your rack and pinion for weeping

Got some good and bad news today from the dealer, the steering rack isn't leaking and they topped off the fluid for me. Going to keep an eye on to make sure I am not losing fluid faster than I...

Re: Leaking Front Shock

A quick update for anyone still following along. The dealership inspected the car today, found that the right side is also leaking, not as bad as the left but will be at the same point soon enough if...

Re: Differential Service Interval on 2014?

Also quick note on torque specs for the diffs. Had to call the dealership for these but they are 14ft-lbs for both the drain and fill. The transfer case is 15-25ft-lbs. I tightened mine to 18ft-lbs.

Re: Power Steering Fluid Low? Check your rack and pinion for weeping

Doesn't help that I just moved cross country so I can't even go to the dealer that I have a good relationship with. Hopefully the new dealer takes pity.

Re: Power Steering Fluid Low? Check your rack and pinion for weeping

I am willing to bet that my rack is going. I serviced the diffs this past weekend so I had to drop the front skid plate. It was completely covered in oil yet no leaks from the engine or anywhere...

Re: Power Steering Fluid Low? Check your rack and pinion for weeping

Looks like something I will have to check this coming weekend. I noticed that my PS fluid was extremely low this past weekend while doing maintenance.

Hopefully the rack is ok as I have a 2014 and...

Re: Leaking Front Shock

We'll see what Chrysler says, its only about $100 in parts. I'll see what the dealer wants to change out a strut. If it ends up being more than $100 for labor, which it probably would, I will just...

Re: Clarify oil weight/viscosity

My manual and cap both say 5w20 on my 2014 3.6L. I have been using Mobil 1 synthetic and haven't been burning any oil between changes.

Re: Differential Service Interval on 2014?

I just performed the service on the diffs and transfer case this past weekend at 37k miles. The rear definitely needed to be changed out and probably should have been done much earlier. It was very...

Leaking Front Shock

Discovery I made today while doing maintenance. Looks like the front left shock is leaking and has been for some time. All of the others are completely dry, which is good. Problem is, I just hit 37k...

Re: 5.7 No Start

It might not be bad time to do a compression test. Also gives you a chance to take a look at the plugs while you're at it.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

Got home late today but I'm working from home tomorrow so I'll do a quick write up for removing the bumper then. Completely optional for this install but it does make some things easier.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

I'll type up some directions when I get home from work. Keep in mind that you will need four new plastic rivets and a rivet gun when putting the bumper back on.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

Pulling the bumper is only a 5 minute process. I wanted to have better access to the area underneath the taillight to secure the controller and resistor.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

I think most people did the install without taking the bumper off. It just seemed easier to pull the bumper off for me.

Re: BREAKING NEWS - New uconnect update for MY13 & MY14

I applied the update a few days and it did resolve jittery rearview camera video. Before the update, the video would sometimes skip. Other than that, I haven't noticed any differences.
