The TPMS doesn't update immediately, it has to be driven, so best method to drive about 10 minutes, look at the display and then measure the tires with an external gauge so you know how far off the...

Mine will never reset until the vehicle shows it at 36 psi. If you want to keep them lower but clear the error, you could inflate them to 36 to clear it, then let some air out to your desired...
