Re: AFE Stage 2 for 09'

I have the AFE Stage 2. I like it because it only replaces the tube going to the plenum and retains the lower bottom half of the airbox. There is no need to replace the plenum on this truck. I had a...

Re: Service 4WD on EVIC.

I cleared the codes after I wrote them down. Its quite possible that I wrote down the wrong DTC. If the 4wd light comes back on I'll re-write the codes down. Do you have a TSB for that 4wd issue??...

Re: How many miles you get on a set of brakes?

I got 165k on my fronts and 79k on my rears. ( old 06 3.7L) The pads were so old in the front they were heat damaged and were cracking apart when I took them out.

Re: Releasing front axle from the diff

It pops out. You gotta pry harder or take two pry bars and pry at the same time.

Slide hammer with a L-Shaped hook on the end works good too.

Re: O2 sensor problems. Need a master mechanic!!

Make sure its pinned right.

It sounds like the connector is pinned wrong. The Brown wire is not a ground wire, its a sig wire.

Re: fell victim to the lower strut bolt...collateral damage questions

Yeah, you're going to need the inner boot too, other than that you'll be good to go.

Yep, check them out. For a midgrade one its about 50 bucks. Top of the line is 99$.

I wouldn't worry too...

Re: fell victim to the lower strut bolt...collateral damage questions

I'm almost positive...

Re: fell victim to the lower strut bolt...collateral damage questions

Go on rock auto and get LCA's. I attempted bushings and it worked, but started getting creaking in no time. Do...

Re: Headlights

You'll get less output on a blue halogen bulb than an hid. Plus I think they're a 55w bulb? That generates more head and you could melt bulb connector/ or housing. The oem ones are 35w.

I had them...

i have oem bulbs in mine and its not bad. i'm going to go with a 4k for a little more output. shouldn't affect oncoming because the tint reduces glare highly.
