Re: 2015 Transmission Issue

I believe that all 2014 and 2015's have the cold shift issue. They added a transmission fluid heater in 2016 from what I have read. I think that the transmission hardware works on some preset shift...

Re: Intermittent Remote Start Problem

Remote start gets erratic when the fob battery gets weak. Are the batteries in all of your fobs about the same age? Put new batteries in both of my fobs solved my problem. They were 3 years old when...

Re: Stalling problem possibly?

Good luck and hope it works out. Mine was a 96 with the 4.0 so about the same age if it turns out to be corrosion associated with the ignition switch.

It is the one at the end of the harness that plugs into the ignition switch. It was done at the dealer. They replaced the ignition switch, cut off the connector from the harness and replaced it with...

Re: Stalling problem possibly?

Check if sensitive to the ignition switch. I had a problem where the Jeep would stall and sometimes I could even give it gas to rev up the engine and get through it. If it stalled out, often it would...

Re: V6 Grand Cherokee...The good and the bad?.

100% correct about not using more octane than required. I have the V6 and initially thought to give it better fuel and used 89 mid grade. It ran fine but the comment above about more btu's in 87 is...

I agree and have always kept tire pressures a couple psi over recommended. I believe that the longer tread life is due to overall less squirm, less flexing, and the resultant lower heat buildup as...
