Re: Overland leather dash issues

I'd pay a leather shop out of pocket to fix a small bubble on my dash before I'd let the monkeys at the dealership replace my WHOLE dashboard.

Re: Paint Defect in 2014 Billet Silver

Same here on my Granite 2014 Overland.

I noticed one on the hood, and the drivers door...first noticed them right after I clay bared & waxed the vehicle. Each is about the size of a softball, and...

Thanks for proving my point that it's safer to use 100% cotton when washing a car.

Re: Save 5.5%-7% below invoice AND zero sales tax!

Yep, I agree.

But unfortunately there're people in this country that feel tax laws are unfair...so because they feel the taxes are to high, they shouldn't be required to pay them.

That's why I mentioned the 4 door Unlimited.

Again, the Unlimited is a far more capable vehicle in off road situations than the WK2, period.

I bought a WK2 because under my ownership it will...

Re: Struggling with decision... Overland or Summit

Even if it's "a lot of off roading" and not rock crawling per se, the Wrangler/Unlimited would still be a more capable and longer lasting vehicle for that environment.

Full frame for the win.

Re: Struggling with decision... Overland or Summit

The WK2 is the wrong animal for "heavy off roading", the Wrangler or Unlimited is FAR more capable than the WK2 for those conditions.

Re: Staples in the fender flares?

There was no paint on any of the four staples I pulled off each of the fender trims...as proof, three were rusty. So the staples had to have been put in after vehicle painting.

And the staple...

Re: Staples in the fender flares?

Just a small blade screw driver to raise the staple up a bit, then needle nose pliers to pull it out. The staples are pretty wimpy, and are easy to pull out.
