Re: Sneak peek new part!!!!!

This strut really is beautiful, and would be a great addition to any WK2 SRT, but does it add anything to stiffness and handling? My 2006 SRT with rear axle does have a strut as OEM, but my 2012 SRT...

Re: What caused damage to my front tires inner edges only

It looks like your alignment went off at some point. 32000 miles on these tires is excellent, so you probably won't get any sympathy from your dealer or Pirelli. Driving on the cords can be dangerous...

Re: Almost GO TIME...Ripp supercharger inhand and ready for install

I know that my first 2006 Jeep 6.1 SRT8 had 16 plugs, but I'm not sure about the 5.7, because it was never used in a SRT product.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT being discontinued?

Jeep is Chrysler's strongest brand, so dropping the SRT Jeep makes no sense. I'm sure any current decision to drop the Jeep SRT will be revisited over the next few years. Or there could be a totally...

Re: Brembo Pads

Looks like mine will have to be replaced around 38,000 miles. From what I read on this thread, that's pretty good.

Re: Getting an SRT8, But have a couple questions before i buy.

Any way you can keep the Yaris for tooling around town, and use the SRT8 for major trips, special events, etc? This way you will put lower mileage on the Jeep, so the big expenses (brakes and tires)...

Don't agree. I have one of the earliest 2012's and still love it. Waiting for the next generation with the 6.2 Supercharged.

Re: anyone else prefer not to have the panoramic sunroof?

I love the big sunroof on my 2012 and have it open at every opportunity. It would be even better if the glass would retract full length, but of course there is no space left in the roof for it to go....

Re: 6290 mile road trip through 14 states

I didn't realize that the 2014 had switched to Redline red pearl, from the Deep Cherry red. From your photo Scott, Redline does look more like the old Inferno red. Does anyone have a side by side?

Is this your third SRT8...the '07, '12 and now the '14? That's fantastic. Do you still have them all? My son has my old '06, now with 104,000 miles, so they are both still in the family.

You should just have waited for the Borla ATAK, and avoided all this hassle. The sound of the ATAK is fabulous, especially at wot through tunnels and underpasses.

Or get him to fix it, provide a second key, and THEN buy it. But don't buy as is. Right now, you might need two new keys, and that's close to $500 with programming.

re: My 2013 Deep Cherry Pearl Grand Cherokee SRT8-BUILD THREAD

Great work Scott! We are also a double red SRT8 family: 2006 and 2012. Your's sure look different. Our's are not debadged and have OEM wheels, but we love 'em. Red is still the fastest.
